Me and my partner came here today for lunch and it did not disappoint! We did the wine tasting and it was lovely to try new wines, we ended up buying two bottles. The lady who did our wine tasting was very detailed with each one we tried. Me and partner ordered the duck and it as absolutely amazing! We also ordered the apple pie for desert and everything tasted fresh and delicious, would highly recommend coming here.
What a gorgeous place to have a nice glass of wine! My server Lia was amazing and managed to pick both a delightful white and red for me to try just by asking a few pointed questions. Spent a lovely afternoon in the yard sipping on some wonderful vinos. Worth a visit. Though I love the wines and wine regions of my beloved South Australia the view here is incomparable.
A good selection of wine varieties to choose from with 5 tastings available for $12 per person is fair. Bottle prices average $30- $50 , not cheap but enjoyable. Beautiful setting and scenery for lunch and a glass or bottle of wine
We found this little spot whilst doing an amazing co mystery picnic. The lady who served us was happy to help us with our selection as my wife and I are both not wine drinkers. It was absolutely gorgeous to be here.
Missed Opportunity. One ex wine tour operator. 2 local travel agents plus 3 friends. Wine was unfortunately not to our taste. Small tastings and not the fun experience we thought it would be. We wanted to love the time we spent here but I wouldn’t recommend the wine tasting at $20 for small tastings. Perhaps a dining experience might be better.
Went to the Flame Hills vineyard in Montville. Honestly was the most pleasurable expitence, the staff were super lovely. The vineyards and views were stunning. And on top of that the wine was superb. I'm not a massive wine lover. BUT! The port we tasted was phenomenon. Just finished my 2 litre bottle and shall be back for more. It's now my favourite wine!!! We also had a visitor, one of the rosters gave us company through out most of the expirence, as he crowed to another roster in the distance! It was quiet funny to watch.
Incredible location. Just a bit of a windy trip for those that get motion sickness ; Worth it! The food is divine, and the wine delicious. On a very hot day it's a bit of a struggle as the ceiling fans don't provide much relief. The on-site hens that wander through the vineyards are an incredible sight and sound. I would definitely visit again!
Lovely little winery but disappointed that we were still charged a tasting fee of $12 after spending $140 on three bottles of wine. First winery that I have ever been to that they have done this and I have been to a lot of wineries all over the country. Will probably not go back. Left a bad taste.

Some really amazing wine, in the most beautiful environment. Thank you to the kind staff today for brightening my day and introducing me to Flame Hill with such positive welcoming vibes. I look forward to reserving a table for lunch next time, keep up the amazing work! UPDATE: 1000% need to come here for lunch, the amazing chef puts so much love into everything - and the produce is grown on the vineyard. The staff, as always, are amazingly pleasant and professional. I feel as though all the negative reviews here come from the wine tour busses wanting free tastings; or people expecting a bowl of chips for lunch, which is such poor form and completely inappropriate feedback for this type of venue. Cannot wait to try the Lagrein Further, we look even more foreword to staying overnight at the vineyard sometime soon. Thanks for always giving me an amazing experience!!
