A classic example of poor planning. Not enough car parks and clearly nothing being done about it. Having to wait in que and then charge way too much for the privilege. Lucky some of us are smart enough to leave extra early for an appointment because you have to. Then you pay more because you're there longer.
I drove around for 15mins looking for a spot. No lights on the car parks, so its painstaking to find a space. The laneways were also too narrow. It was extremely frustrating and I almost missed my appointment just trying to find a car space! The only reason this isn't a 1 star is because the car spaces were big.
Had to leave 1 star as couldn't rate any lower!! Numerous visits here to see specialists. Second time I've had an appointment around lunchtime. If you have an appointment between 12pm and 2pm, expect the line to be back around the corner towards Olsen Ave. If you are told to wait to go in to carpark, expect @$$4013s to come down the straight ahead line and jump in front of the queue. Staff don't give a rats about queue jumpers. Overpriced parking considering it's a hospital for god's sake.
The owners should hang their head in shame. Making huge profits from those in dire and distressing situations. How the government allows this greediness astounds and upsets me. Have a heart and stop this profiteering from those who are already struggling with ill health and can’t afford the astronomical parking fees
Expensive and full every day by 10am. A disgrace to charge patients and their families for the service or lack thereof provided.
Absolute RIP-OFF. I am going through chemo weekly and have to pay around $17 per visit AND I can't find a spot - I have to drive all the way to the top and even then sometimes I have to come all the way back down. Takes 15 minutes that I'm paying for! The car spaces are tiny. You should be ashamed of yourselves. And don't write the standard "our pricing is in line with other carparks around the area" because that is irrelevant. You are a car park for a hospital. Have some compassion.
Far too expensive, simple., How are pensions supposed to visit loved one's.
Hospital staff are great and have always been professional, but who the hell decided on this overpriced parking for a PUBLIC hospital? F OFF with this pay parking BS. I avoid visits to the hospital for family/friends unless completely necessary, mainly due to avoiding the parking fees. Even for health care, it all comes back to someone making money. Disgusting!
I Refuse to pay in that car park as all the parking profits go straight to a Japanese company and not the hospital, disgraceful
You asked for feedback. Here it is. First capacity is an issue you’re not fixing that anytime soon. Second is price. What is it? A private company charging to park outside a public hospital? It’s cheaper for me to take an Uber back and forth. That’s ridiculous. Anyway, you won’t take any of this on board as similar reviews changed nothing so I’ll wrap it up hear. I could keep going.
