ATT. Today my family and I experienced the most disturbing incident which occurred today at your Seafolly store on McEvoy St Alexandria, by your store clerks Chloe, Monica and Shammi at 1 pm on 21/01/2023. My husband, daughter, niece and I were shopping for swimwear when the clerks started observing us from the moment we walked in; they were looking at each other, making us feel most uncomfortable. While my 8 year old niece was walking through the rack and looking at the items, a hanger attached to her clothing, one of the clerks alerted her to the fact and my niece apologised and returned it to the rack immediately. I observed the clerk as I heard her speak with a negative tone and saw the clerk looking at her colleagues and rolling her eyes, shortly after my daughter picked a costume to look at and when she returned it to the rack, it fell to the floor, my daughter immediately collected the item off the floor and returned it to the rack. At that point, my husband saw the same girl that rolled her eyes at my niece watching my daughter and making her feel uncomfortable with the manner in which she was watching her. My daughter came and whispered in her dad’s ears, saying “can we leave please” as she was so uncomfortable. At this point, my husband explained to my daughter that she should not worry. He stated in a clear voice that the girls in this store are rude and showed us a lot of attitudes; the girl that rolled her eyes responded, “sorry, I didn’t look at you in any way” he responded that I’m not blind, she responded, “maybe you are”, when I heard this, I asked “what is your problem” they responded ”we didn’t do anything”, I left the items of clothing. My husband asked for the three girls names; I stated that their behaviour was disgusting and that I will be complaining to head office. My daughter who is 12 years old and my niece who is 8 years old are devastated, they haven’t stopped crying and feeling very sad. Are these the values you show your customers? Is this how a women’s swimwear clothing label empowers women as young girls by body shaming? I am deeply concerned with the attitude of your store clerks, this is discrimination, and I will take this matter further. I expect this matter to be dealt with immediately. I will be going public with this experience and will take it further than complaining to the head office.
There was a sign outside at 4:20 saying “just having lunch be back soon, we close at 5pm today”. We waited for 30mins for the staff to arrive and no one did till closing time and saw they had entered through the back and decided to “close”
Really unprofessional sales staff. I was assisted by a middle aged blonde woman with a European accent I didn’t get her name. Asked where I could find the dresses for kids as It was obviously Christmas time and I was shopping for my young nieces. When I asked if they had specific size she simply laughed at me and responded with “haha none left you should of just been here earlier” excuse me? I understand that sizing is limited seeing as it’s a “Factory outlet” after all but really that’s her attitude towards customers? I’ve been shopping here ever since I was a little girl. I was absolutely repulsed by her attitude and left the store embarrassed and empty handed.
Pretty disappointed that both the website and google states that this place opened at 9am and even by 9:25am it’s still completely locked up. 3 people were waiting outside. Have times changed? Are staff late? Quite confused and sad that I’m leaving empty handed.
Sunday 27th Feb I had a fantastic experience I think with jaquie. My daughter & I came in late afternoon and my 13 year old daughter who is a 14-16 and quite uncomfortable with help from other ladies but She gave us the time and spoke so softly & in a very well mannered way. She made our time there great. I need to say thank you again.
Vesna was very friendly and helpful, choosing lots of different styles and sizes from around the store to help me find the perfect bikini for my upcoming holiday. Thank you for your patience today! Great prices and friendly staff. Highly recommend and will be back.
Great value for money, friendly staff particularly manager. Only downfall is sizing can be sometimes limited which is expected at a clearance outlet. Can pick up a bikini set for $60 or less. Quality of product is great. Street parking nearby.
My first time bikini shopping and I wanted something very specific. Vesna was very patient and helpful and showed me a lot of options. Not many options for my 8yo. Good prices, will definitely recommend!
I arrived after 45min of bus, and the shop was closed despite of the open hours announced !
