Just a lovely place to enjoy a special dinner.  The food is good.  You won’t be disappointed.  Lovely views. Absolutely friendly obliging staff. Incredible wine list,  great cocktails.  The herbs salads fresh greens were delicious and fresh.  We walked away in awe of the evening we just had experienced there,  and days later we are still talking about it.  We will return and we would recommend this restaurant to others.  If I was asked to provide a suggestion which would improve patron’s experience it would be to invest in nicer chairs.  Those plastic chairs are uncomfortable and I think they look tacky.  They look easy to clean and disinfect so maybe  that’s their purpose.

Amazing staff service. Dining from an almost 270 degree view of the beautiful Hunter River overlooking massive container ships entering the harbour. What more could you ask for.  The food was great and not overly expensive. Definitely need to book ahead of time. We came about an hour before lunch service was finishing up. Managed to score a great table.

I attended my work Christmas party here last week and I was absolutely delighted with the amazing service. Our waiter took great care with my dietary needs making sure I could enjoy myself being vegetarian gluten free. Stuffed zucchini flowers were wonderful and they modified a curry for me for my main. Such a treat to have gluten free fries. I had a wonderful time Thank you.  Vegetarian options: Kitchen was happy to accommodate with offer multiple options for me. Absolutely fabulous lunch. Bella was our Waitress today and she was just fabulous she absolutely made our day from the time we got there until we left.  The food was fantastic fresh and delicious

My girlfriend took me here for dinner when I came up for a visit, I was not disappointed!The service,the food and the view were all amazing!My friend had the oysters which she said were very fresh and delicious. I had the char grilled octopus for entree,also very good.We shared mains which consisted of tempura prawns,seafood antipasta and scallops with truffle-all delicious!Will definitely be back when I visit again!

We had the Char-Grilled Seafood Antipasto entree, Swordfish, Southern Spring Lamb Rump and Beef Tenderloin Fillet with chats.  The spring lamb and beef tenderloin were amazing, the chats were nice and crispy.  Did not like the pearl couscous and none of us liked the side salads that came with the lamb and swordfish.  For dessert we had the Dark Chocolate Crème Brûlée and the Caramel Trio. The caramel trio was very good, I recommend it.  We were lucky enough to get a table next to the sea. We could see the Newcastle ferry making its rounds. The service was good, staff were friendly.

The food was take away from the service window. It took a while to actually receive the food after ordering and the time on their cash registration invoice was incorrect. The friendliness of the staff leaves a lot to be desired. When we inquired about using the bathrooms the welcome staff at the door was very rude to me and my friends. The person serving at the window was slow and short changed me, when I corrected her, she didn't apologize and almost threw the change at me. The food was lovely and reasonably priced, if I return it will be for that reason alone.

Lovely view out to the water. I ordered a seafood plater for 1 pictured and cost $117.  The seafood was nice, but not significantly better than others for the price. I found the fruit salad a little unusual with hot and cold seafood and could've done without it at a lower price and felt happier with my meal.

The restaurant is presented almost cafe like, although for the price you pay you’d expect it be an upper-class establishment.  My serving of 10 prawns for $44 in the creamy garlic prawn dish was a little underwhelming for the price. The food was tasty, the staff a bit hit and miss with some having attitude and others very personable and friendly.  There was a lot of families in attendance with small children on a Thursday night, which made it quite noisy, but that’s not the restaurant’s fault, just the type of patrons they attract who are selfish with letting their kids distract the other diners.

Awesome food! Everything was amazing! View was spectacular! Definitely recommended one of the best!  Came back to this place, absolutely awesome food 2nd time round. You get what u pay for and this place delivers. If u want to be impressed or impress someone come here!
