I WOULD NOT recommend taking your bike here for a service. I took my bike in because there was a short in the wiring that I couldn’t fix myself. They quoted me around $300 depending on how long the job was going to take and what ended up being wrong with the bike. They called me to say the whole bike needed to be rewired and extra hours were required. When I asked why the whole bike needed rewiring they said it was because the colours on the wiring didn’t match. I am not expert on bikes but regardless of the colours on the wires all you need to do is get a multimeter and find the fault regardless of what colour each cable is. Surely you would just locate the short and fix that wire not strip the whole bike and re do all the wiring. 

I ended up going down to the shop and spoke with them convincing the guys that the whole bike didn’t need to be rewired to fix one short. 1 hour later they called me back and said the bike is fixed and that it didn’t end up taking as long as expected. Great , problem fixed without re wiring the whole bike and it will come in under the initial quote. When I get there to pick up the bike I am told it’s more than the original quote and that my battery was dead so they replaced it. When I dropped off the bike they asked me about the battery and I told them it was 3 months old and one of the mechanics said ‘’it’s not the battery’’ while he was testing it in front of me.

So if the bike took less hours to fix than expected and my battery wasn’t dead then why am I been charged more and why is my battery been replaced? 

Nobody in the store could actually tell me what the issue with my bike was or what was fixed besides the fact that I needed a new battery. I asked for my old battery back , waited in the store for what felt like ages , took it home and tested it sure enough there was nothing wrong with it.

I put my 2010 postie bike in for a full service and the boys at the Scooterama were great. They are professional, efficient and honest. When I brought my bike back due to leaking in another area and squeaking in the rear brake of the bike they get on it straight away without charging me extra. However I still have that squeaking sound coming out from my rear brake though...

DISGRACEFUL BUSINESS - This company rode my bike with no authorisation to another workshop on Johnston Street (which I was trying to avoid) because of the bad Google reviews about a fake issue they raise about coolant. 

I was after a basic roadworthy - they said they could do this. After finding out they rode my bike to another shop I was furious and picked up my bike. 

Remember this business is willing to LIE TO YOU

I found scooterana on google when I was looking for a RWC for my vintage looking Benelli. Both Patrick and Robert were very helpful and accommodating especially with my scooter being in short supply of parts and needing TLC. They even cleaned the scooter and installed the new number plates and now it runs like a babe. Also impressed with being able to pay electronically against the invoice thanks to their accounting system.

I just recently purchased a Kymco scooter from Scooterama and I have to say i've never experienced such amazing customer service. 

The gentleman at the front (as well as the back) were very polite, knowledgeable and know their stuff very well. Everything was handled with a very high level of professionalism, from purchasing the scooter, all the way to organising insurance. I highly recommend Scooterama to anyone interested in buying a scooter, as they are true men of their word. Once again, a huge thank you to the team, I appreciate the amazing service, I will be back for sure ;).
