The kid enjoyed her time here and thought it was a fun-filled and educational outing so this rates as a 5 star experience. I had fun too, especially in the air play area. The lightning show was mostly awesome.
My kids had an absolute blast! We spent from 12:30-4 there and they could have stayed until close. We also went and saw the planetarium show Starlight and my 6 year old son loved it! My 5 year old daughter was a bit bored but she loved the rest of it! I even enjoyed touching and learning about things. I highly recommend scienceworks to anyone. It’s not even that expensive either. I would suggest buying the tickets online so u can pretty much walk right in. There was a long line if u hadn’t pre purchased tickets.
Certainly not as wonderful as I remember it being from childhood. $30 entry for my wife, 4 y/o daughter, newborn and I which seemed reasonable for the amount of content available. Similar to the Melbourne Museum however many of the digital exhibits are very dated now with very low resolutions and dated digital content and anything interactive was very laggy.nWe got through most things in an hour and a half with most time spent in the relatively new and highly interactive STEM room. We decided to pay the extra $30 for the air exhibit which was a mistake. It had some interesting interactive exhibits but paying for two adults who couldn’t really do much was a bit rich. Our 4 y/o had fun and it was a good 2 hours but won’t be rushing back.
There were Way too many objects out of order. The museum overall was so outdated and crowded with kids. On the other side, ACMI is free and way exciting.
Fantastic fun for all ages. Free entry with concession or $10 each without, still great family friendly pricing. Over 2 hours of interactions where all the kids big a day small CAN touch things we will be back for certain. Next trip is the planetarium On site Cafe pricing is reasonable also.
