Best range of high quality home fittings I have seen. Very helpful staff. Terrible place to locate and park being right on Hoddle Street but worth it. Little stock in store so you order from the display range and it is delivered to you within 20 days. Not ideal if you have an urgent issue. Items also quite expensive compared to the big players but you get an amazing range, quality and advice.
[ edited] I am changing this review as Store Manger Nancy attended the issue promptly. Glad to see Nancy cared about customers. She deserved the five stars! ======= Beautiful shop but the customer service is definitely not up to the level. I bought a floor lamp from the store and asked for testing it before I took home told the floor staff that I live 40 km away from the store. He assured it’d work as it's new; unfortunately, I got a crystal ball. Called the store the next day, they were not willing to listen or help, just told me to go back to the shop for exchange/refund or email the customer service team. Very disappointed with the store staff, didn’t even attempt to help or willing to go extra mile for customers.
I had an issue with a bathroom basin and the team at Schots was fantastic in getting it replaced. The replacement was promptly organised and their installer removed the old basin & installed the new one taking great care not to damage the benchtop.
Kent, within lighting was understanding and professional with amazing customer service skills. They did not have what I needed but he did not stop until he found it for me. I really appreciate the help thanks and I will be back. Tracey S
It's their flagship store that has amazing items that take me back to my youth. if you're renovating a period home this is the place to shop.
Absolutely amazing shop, a must visit if you’re building or renovating a place in Melbourne. The range of furniture and fittings here is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. For period homes and industrial style places, there’s such a variety of everything from baths to fireplaces to lights. The cafe within the warehouse is a pretty big drawcard too. The prices are great. $2 for a coffee is a bargain. You can get a full lunch for under $10.
The customer service is impeccable particularly Suzanne from Clifton Hills thank you so much for all your help! I highly recommend Schots they have amazing products great staff and amazing service always eager to help for your home projects!
The worst customer service I have encountered. I bought a fireplace about 7 months ago - and nobody can supply me with a receipt! I lost count of the amounts of times I phoned and asked for one. Every time they promise to email it, but never does.
Called to enquire about a bathroom fixture and had a female staff member with a ghastly phone manner cut me off several times when I tried to ask a question, then cut me off more times than imaginable when she tried to put my details into their computer database, whinge about the "stupid" computer and then complain that they're busy before telling me that she'd have to call back and asked for my phone number after I had already repeated it about 5 times. The irony of their automated hold message saying "if you think retail is dead, come visit our showrooms!" No thank you, I'll spare myself the ineptitude!
Has an extensive range of products suitable for period homes. Quality products so expect a higher price tag.
