its been 5 years i have always taken my watch and shoe and as usual they have done a fabulous job. and when i look at the reviews it is so disturbing always mentioning other shop or bla bla. comon unless it is that shop member wrting a story to just misguide us the loyal customer from going to that shop. lol . as i always go there why dont you try the shop then react on the feedback .. pathetic.

Good service. Only I was charged $18.95 to place a $0.50 press stud on a leather pouch that I can buy new on eBay for $25. No wonder local shops can't compete with online shops if they have to charge these prices to stay afloat. Only... it does not have to be this expensive, I had my shoe re-stitched (a lot more work) by a cobbler in Geelong for $5. Guess where I will be going next time.

I had some engraving done for a christening. I was told by them that the object was a metal that was hard to engrave but they would do their best if i wanted to proceed. I stupidly gave them the go ahead and the result came back looking like the work of a child. The whole time they assured me that they know what they are doing and it wasnt their fault, the problem is the metal. I was really disapointed with the result. I took the piece to watch works in eastland for a 2nd opinion and they were disgusted by the lack of workmanship. They felt that sorry for me they even went ahead and did the engraving for free on a replacement piece i had purchased and have shown me what a clear difference the outcome is when the engraver is trained and skilled. 5 stars to watch works and 0 to scholler. If they are not trained and capable of doing the job they claim they can do they should not be charging people for it . Avoid at all costs

They catch a lot of people coming out of the shops but if you're reading this don't bother. Had two RM Williams belts resized. Was happy with one but the stitching of the other (outward facing around a feature buckle) was not coloured matched, crooked and threads were poking out. Went back to ask if anything else could be done, was pleasant in my approach and I don't think I've been spoken to like that before. The lady who identified herself as the owner was defensive and aggressive, palm in front of my face, saying 'you only paid $15, what do you expect?'. Maybe people query the quality of their work often? It may well have been a tough job given thickness of the leather or something - I guess I won't ever know. Throwing verbal punches and saying she'd unpick it all then refund me was not a good approach. She begrudgingly changed the stitching colour, said 'Happy? Cause that's all you're gonna get!' And threw the belt back at me. This rating isn't due to the quality of work - that happens from time to time. But it's due to the fact they're running a business where they're not putting the customer first and I left feeling very rattled from the whole ordeal.
