Schnips in Melanesia Rd, Kohimarama is a smart looking salon with a selection of stylist to choose from. Jai coloured my hair and Hannah cut my hair, a team effort. Living on a boat and at a beach plays havoc with my hair. Thanks for rescuing it girls!

Sorry but I won't go here again. It was shocking when I came back home and watched mirror. My sculp is really messy now with red stains everywhere. Also I am not happy with the result as well. With cheaper price at other salons in Auckland, they've done much better than this.

Horrible experience!! In Schnips Phd Botany I tried to light up my color and I ended up with three different colors in my hair. I was attended by an unexperienced girl who let the color sit on the roots for too long, which ended up causing a orange carrot shade and after realising the horrible disaster they saturated my hair in peroxide to try to light up the point. I left very disappointed and I ended up paying about 245$ NZD for a redish/black/orange color that wasn't even the one I expected.

I have my hair done with Miriam. She is great and one of the few that can deal with wavy hair in NZ

Great service, friendly staff and they give a nice head massage when washing your hair as a standard procedure.
