Extremely overpriced, a lot of items are not in saleable condition and the customer service/return policy is a joke. Multiple items I purchased had stains, I realised right after I paid as I was folding items into my bag.nI went to a lady who I asked about a refund for, showing the stains to which she said “well they are secondhand items” as if to excuse huge stains well duh you’d think your prices would reflect that sentiment made by this worker.nShe then pointed me over to the service desk to me, once another worker finally made their way over there they stated that they ONLY ACCEPT RETURNS WITHIN 14 DAYS WITH THE VALUE GOING TOWARDS *SAME DAY PURCHASES* not even store credit, being that I’d already paid for everything I wanted spending close to $150 and didn’t want to look back over the racks I was left to take home dirty items.nThey state only returns in saleable condition are accepted but are literally stocking the racks with unsaleable condition items. I wouldn’t be bringing an item back if it wasn’t without defects. So what are you going to say when I come back in a week with items I purchased in already in poor conditionnot that I want to after this experience, I just want my moneys worth pretty ridiculous policy and dimwitted staff with some serious audacity.
I love this store. The staff are lovely and it's generally pretty clean except I find weekends things are messier. Some days I can walk out with nothing and some days I find some real bargains. It's great for those who love to browse and overall things are priced fairly for second hand stuff. I go here mainly for secondhand books and knick knacks. When I finish with the books I donate it back to get a 20 per cent off voucher and the cycle repeats.
This all happened today 22/9/24 4pmnEverything was going all well till I went to checkout with two items, shirt for me and slippers for my mother. The shirt successfully scan however the slippers wasn’t, tried to get the workers attention but she was busy. So I decided to pay for my shirt and pay for the slipper after. Until she came and “assumed” that I was about to “steal” the slipper and checked the receipt again as it says I got only one item. She decided to grab the slipper and asked me if I’m going to pay for it as obviously I would.nInstead she scan and I paid for it as it should. Although she helped me at the end, I felt slightly offended because of this act.nThanks
Good assortment of goods, the clothes were definitely overpriced. Some items though pricey were good value but many were the price you find on sale for new items. The staff are friendly and the store is clean.nHome decor was a little pricey also for secondhand goods.
Great prices and availability.nStaff are always eager to help when we have visited.nNeed more cash register that takes cash as an option rather than one cash register inside the store itself.
