Love this store! Found a gorgeous chair for my office other day. I'm so in love with it! Lovely condition. Awesome price. Their glassware section is beautiful. Seems they have improved alot of items quality and range.nThe ladies at the counter were nice. Very busy on day I was there. Some items I saw were expensive but I shop here 'occasionally' for items with personality so I don't mind paying. It's a charity. People shouldn't complain. The money goes back to their resources. It's a big store so Check it out
Staff Discrimination towards peaceful customers - My two older sisters and my mum were peacefully shopping around looking at mattresses that happened to be near the exit emergency door and then a staff member started yelling at us to not open the exit door but we weren’t even paying attention to the door nor touching it so we were confused, my older sister told her we were only looking at mattresses but she tried to have a go at us until she saw my mum and my mum told the lady we were only looking at mattresses and she quickly “apologised” and walked off only for her to grab a male staff member to come up to us and try to defend her case that it was a misunderstanding, when clearly that wasn’t the case we felt discriminated and not welcomed my mum explained that we’re only here to look at mattresses and after that the staff member just stood in the area where we were shopping not leaving us alone, feeling unwelcome we all left unhappy.nnIn short terrible service and judging customers because of what they look like!
Seeing this is an eBay Salvos hub I was expecting obscene pricing like at Williamstown, Taylors Lakes and Braybrook.nnBut I was pleasantly surprised how reasonable the clothing and bric a brac was priced at. Many tees at 5 to 9 dollars, jumpers as low as $7. Lots of furniture but didn't check the pricing on that. Massive warehouse sized Salvos which is worth a stop.
The salvos online hub is a rip off, beware of buying from them. They sell fake Bali bags and charge you more money than they cost new in Bali, they are bad quality bags and you will be paying too much for them. Also it's illegal to sell fake bags when you know they are fake as it funds terrorism and trafficking but salvos online doesn't care so much for Christian values. They sell fake clothes too and then refuse to refund you for faults. I will no longer support Salvos and suggest if you buy from their online store in Vic that you are very careful.
Excellent salvos store; big and packed with affordable and cheap bargains. I enjoyed volunteering here as the staff are really friendly and helpful. I do recommend you to come shop here; sales happen weekly and often; $2 tag sales happen weekly at most and so do 50% discounts on specific colour tags. Additional 20% discounts apply every Wednesday to students who show their student IDs, and on Thursdays for seniors who show their pension/concession cards.
