Today I had the best Fish and Chips in my 62 years on this planet. OMG they were so good, the crumbed whiting was plentiful and the best. The crab claws and potato cakes were amazing. Lovely clean place with lots to choose from. Great value
Dunno what these people in recent reviews are on about. 1st time here in almost a year. Good as ever. At first I thought the small pieces of snapper for battered was a bit unfair considering bigger pieces used for grilled which I only heard after ordering, but it makes sense to do it that way once considered. Snapper was beautiful as was the calamari rings. Young staff are well mannered and know what they're doing. I'll be back again for sure
The young team behind the counter were great! Friendly and respectful despite how busy it was on a weekday. The food was okay, not bad but nothing special. Good location to stop by for a rest break with the seating near the water
This shop used to be absolutely awsome and had local support. It has been sold over the last couple of months and new owner is about to rely on unsuspecting tourists in the very near future. Had a snapper and a whiting pack tonight, 4 cocktails and a heap of chips $18. Used to be 6 cocktails some tasty chips for $16. Batter used to be delicious and crispy now soggy. It amazes me how people can see a success and turn it into a failure instead of embracing what has succeeded. Now just a great view.
Really good fish and chips. Fresh, hot and tasty. Staff are friendly and helpful. Even when busy they don't rush you. Lovely spot for lunch by the river.Food: 4/5
Fresh seafood cute little spot. Calamari was well seasoned.
Not the best experience unfortunately. Ordered and paid for snapper and chips, shortly after we got told there was no snapper which is fine When we requested our money back, one of the staff behind the counter got very cranky with the fact that we didn't want to order something else. Pretty rude.
