Story

Ocean Blues Quality Seafood has been providing award winning fish and chips in Budgewoi for over 24 years. It is currently owned by Garry Risteski and his family who have been operating the business for over 9 years. We take pride in our small business and aim to provide great service and quality food.

We carry a range of both fresh and local seafood including prawns, oysters, whole fish, fish fillets, lobsters, crabs, squid and much more.

We specialize in cooked seafood, winning "Best Fish and Chips" on the Central Coast by 107.7 2GO FM listeners, twice.
Want to try some of that seafood?
We cook your food on the spot, no pre-cooking here! Our potato scallops are homemade and our pluto pups are battered on the spot. Our calamari are hand cut and crumbed daily. We also provide a variety of burger and gluten free options.

To better suit you during those busy times we are opened extended hours over the warmer months (september-may) and school holidays.
We are also opened every public holiday except Christmas Day!

Pretty good. Yummy, fresh and reasonably priced fish n chips n calamari rings. Better than expected. Friendly and polite staff. Will visit again.

Super good fish and chips! Everything was tasty and generous, very fresh. Best banana fritter ever too!

The food is good and worth a visit but can have long wait times during peak times. Eg Lunch. You need to check your orders as I saw one guy accidentally overcharged by $15. He worked it out and was refunded Also the both times I visited they forgot either the lemon and tartar.

Have never eaten here before, just stopping by after a late surf. The chips were ok - they were fine...but the fish and everything else was amazing. We got some sort of a fisherman's basket and it was great.

Amazing.... so fresh! I might say you can have the best fish and chips here.

Great Serving Size, the Fish cocktails are really good. Service could be much more friendly but doesnt take away from the good old school hand cut fish and chips

Fantastic mixed seafood  dinner, and some nice fresh prawns on the side. Definitely recommend!

The food was great, the service was very efficient and the staff were friendly!

I’ve got a wrong order, there was no heathy option and I asked for 2 sauces and didn’t  any sauce it my order of fish and chips and just realized when got to the camping. Well, I wouldn’t recommend.
