Saltire Cafe

This was our first stop after flying into Launceston. Lovely welcoming staff. Our breakfasts were very nice and the coffee was great. Saltire Cafe is located in a beautiful converted church. It has plenty of out door seating as well as indoors. There’s a veggie garden out the back which is worth having a look at.

Absolutely worth stopping to get a bite. We had a lovely lunch sitting out in the garden surrounded by beautiful fruit trees and the cute renovated church in the background. Fantastic food. Everything is fresh and tasty but with a real creative flare.

Serious cafe with reasonable long black but nothing to write home about. Comfortable with outside seating option. Attentive customer service. I got the feeling that it was more geared to food rather than coffee but I'll need to test that.

The meals are fairly well priced, and a good size that allows one to have desert too ! Quite good service. The room was a little warm for me, but most likely suited others okay. They didn't have a traditional iced coffee on the drinks menu which was disappointing. A nice environment, and I would definitely go back again.

Beautiful atmosphere of an old church. We had coffee & cake which was delicious & the staff were helpful & efficient. Parking in the carpark or out the front on the road is very convenient.

Excellent staff, food, coffee and set in a lovely old church. outdoor area was well done with pizza oven and home grown herbs which were sprinkled on meals

Food was tasty, a little pricey it would be lovely to see the gardens done up abit especially the vegi patch. Service was really friendly
