Story

Imagine a place that serves up delicious booze, stunning coffee and fresh and affordable food in a vintage art setting. That's us.

We have two levels: downstairs for our restaurant, live music and painting; upstairs for an art gallery, quiet lounge for drinks, and function space.

GET IN TOUCH IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:

LIVE ART: painting to an audience live on stage (Monday nights 6pm till 9pm).
ART GALLERY HIRE: our art gallery is available for formal and casual exhibitions, or as a meeting space. RESERVATIONS: breakfast Monday to Friday (bookings unavailable before 12pm Saturday and Sunday, but come on down), dinner Monday to Saturday.
FUNCTIONS: part-venue or full-venue hire available with no hire fee.

The Maylands strip wouldn't be the same without Henry on 8th! Over the years I've been dropping past you still get the vibe that this little gem is run by locals who really care about giving you the best food & beve experience with such a relaxed vibe cheers
The staff are always incredible. The owner goes out of his way to say g'day every time; and the table service is amazing. Fantastic atmosphere - been multiple times and leave absolutely stoked. Ripper spot. Be sure to catch the acoustic!
Henry's is the best local bar you could hope for. The food is always delicious, they have a good range of drinks to choose from, and the staff are all absolute gems. I've been here frequently over the past year and have never had a bad experience. 11/10 will always recommend.
Friendly, attentive staff. Good beer and good food.
Ambience plus, with intimate tables for 2s and 4s, and welcoming bar stools if you're solo. Neat selection of wine, spirits and beer poured by attentive owner/staff. Choice select menu. An artist was painting, live, on a raised stage the first night I went; other nights there's music. My new go-to wine bar!
Attentive service and really fast meals at this small local pub. The menu is not extensive but is OK. I had beef burger on gluten free bread, would have been tastier of the meat pattie wasn't overcooked and tasting like charcoal.
