Update 04/10/25:nnWent in to try the new menu.nnThe bread sharer is great. The table got:nn•Ribs - 5/5 - great portion and flavourn•Fish and chips - 3/5 - was nicen•Brisket - 4/5 - well cookedn•French dip sandwich 3.5/5 - would have been a 4 but the horseradish doesn't go well with the dip, everything else works well.n•Mash and gravy - 4/5 - was decentn• Loaded gravy fries no beef only cheese - 4/5 - tasted great but expensive for what they arennWith drinks we were over $200, was it worth it? Yeah. Certain items feel expensive for what they are or portion sizes but always well cooked.nnStaff were great and really helpful with suggestions and information on the menu.nnGreat beer, and the burgers were on point. A couple of minor things, but that's me nit picking!!!! Staff are great and really friendly! Definitely recommend, best location out of the group.

Continues to be a great venue, with great staff, loads of good food options.... and drinks!nnWe were greeted quickly and shown to a seat, which was easy despite no booking.nnA great menu offering something for individuals, or to share!nnThere are also drink options to accompany any food choice.nnFood came quickly, it was a good temperature, and the portion sizes didn't disappoint.nnOverall a great experience, and we'll no doubt be back for a third time in the near future.

Wow!!!!  We had a couple of friends suggest  trying Salt and Wood so we went there tonight as a little treat and wanting to eat locally and support local business.  From the moment we walked in we were warmly greeted by the most warm and welcoming staff.  We were given great seating options and supplied a menu.  Firstly the crafted beer was some of the best I've ever drunk, settling on the Farmfield ale.  We had some starters of olives and pork belly that was out of this world delicious.  We've travelled around Europe a lot and this food left anything we've had ove the past year well in the rear view mirror.  Following this it was burger time and they did not disappoint.  Yummy!!  Then for dessert the cheese cake had the perfect balance or salt and sweet to full us to the brim which I might add was given to us at no charge when we came to pay the billnnExceptional service by amazing staff and a super delicious meal all within our own neighbourhood.  Thank you guys, especially Carey?  with blonde short hair We will see you next week with guests from Auckland in tow.

What a lovely venue! I enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere and ambience of this place. The food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place.

I'm impressed by the service, atmosphere and stunning food during my first visit.
