I love this place. It looks like a small, unassuming coffee shop from the outside and inside. While it is very cute, they serve gourmet-level meals with great presentation. Every time I'm in Chatswood, I end up eating here every morning. They even go out of their way to remember your name, and I'm only here a couple of times per year for business! I've tried a lot of good breakfast places in the area, but I now come here almost exclusively.
Nice feed , friendly service. I ordered the chicken sandwich and it was lovely, my gf ordered the 2.0 prawn croissant and it was amazing. Nice cafe and definitely will be back. PS. I like the idea of having a note on every table telling people that there is one hour limit during peak hour. It’s brilliant because some people have no commonsense
I've always passed by this cafe but had never actually had their meals. I was quite surprised with the quality and presentation of the food. Everything was really good and well made. The coffee was good as well. I would definitely go back. Be aware they are not big, so during peak times you might have problems fitting larger groups in there.
Bacon and Egg burger was good. My partner enjoyed her meal but the sausages were not very nice. I was told that the chocolate milkshakes were not available which was a bit disappointing. Service was quick, but staff seemed a bit miserable. Overall good food though.
Found this cafe occasionally and it becomes my favorite cafe in Chatswood now. The food is delicious and well decorated. The taste of coffee is the way I like. Staffs are always warm and friendly. Will keep visiting it :Recommended dishesAcai Bowl, Salmon Stack, King Prawn & Egg Croissant, Omurice Fried
One of my most favourite cafe in chatswood. Things I like: 1.I Big brekkie ard 20 AUS is really big !! U can serve it as your brunch and make your day ! 2.II another breakfast I have tried is the toast set. I appreciate the way they deliver red pink sauce which is dragon fruit that shows their creativity. The toast is just right to point with the avocado sauce. 2. I have tried iced latte, hot cappuccino and hot green tea in different times. The coffee quality is satisfying. The way they deliver the tea is special, you will be given a nice teapot and they serve T2 tea choices. 3. the scramble egg is amazing. 4. wifi provided ! Things to improve: 1. the environment is a bit noisy that I can’t fully enjoy the vibes there. 2. big brekkie include some blue cheese which some customers may not like it 3. the big brekkie meal is a bit salty.
Walked past this place multiple times and only realised it was a cafè while looking for breakky options in chatswood. We were pleasantly surprised with the delicious food and great service. Staff were extremely attentive and food came out pretty quickly. Ordered a big breakky and prawn + scrambled egg croissant. We loved both but I personally recommend the big breakky. Everything was cooked perfectly, eggs were scrambled beautifully, portion wasn’t overwhleming like how most big breakky are Coffee was really good too.
I am the regular customer in Salt & Light and love it so much. The hot chocolate is the best I had. The owner is kind and very patiently, he was introduced the food to me in detail. I ordered a Ricotta Buttermilk Hotcake in store and an Açaí bowl for taking away. Both of them are so nice, prepare to have it again.
I’m a regular customer. Their coffee used to be pretty good but not anymore. This morning we had a piccolo and a flat white with watermelon cake. Cake was good but coffees were so disappointing.
Delicious! I had a orange cake and I could tell that it was baked fresh and was still warm best thing I've eaten in a while! Coffee was great too and service spot on
