Great service from both reception and repair people - friendly, thorough and efficient. I dropped my car Friday and they had it ready on Tuesday. They explained exactly what they would do when I dropped it off and checked I was fully satisfied at pick up. I'm glad my insurer uses them.
I would like to thank the lovely receptionist and the assessor for taking such good care of our triton we were really concerned as we have a very expensive airbrushed mural on the tail gate and the damage which needed to be repaired was on the passenger side extremely close to the tailgate, firstly the paint matching skills of this team is incredible and it is really well done underneath this section husband put his hand to check and there is not a ripple in the medal it is totally straight. I still have my little red sports convertible to get repaired by this team and after seeing the great job on our Triton I have absolute faith that she returned just like brand new. Called ahead of my appointment, receptionist was extremely rude. As I was driving towards the centre, cars marked with the pen they use were flying around the corners, no care for other peoples property whatsoever. Went through the initial inspection of damages, felt rushed. Went to another centre to get my car actually fixed, as the first encounters with staff here were not ideal. Would recommend the same.
Used this guys for multiple repairs and always been easy to deal with, professional and efficient. Personal shoutout to Glenn who does the initial assessments and does a great job with an excellent manner!
Dropped off my vehicle at Murarrie and I asked the staff who saw me about some extra work whilst my car is getting minor repair work and he specifically told me they don't do private work. Nonetheless, when I collected my car from Tingalpa, the gentlemen who was very helpful and friendly told me they could have done the repaint while my car was being repaired for convenience. I was so frustrated because not only I now have to find another reputable panel beater it will also mean I won't have a car while I get it done. Trying to find the best in the industry is a challenge specially being a female. Whereas because they are the preferred repairer of Suncorp they would have been the best place to do it. Argh! Still pissed with the experience. Lack of communication between the workshop not to mention the call centre staff are rude.
I had a very good experience with this business. Aiden and the team were super efficient, friendly and helpful. The whole repair experience was a lot quicker than I expected. They also booked me Ubers to and from the car rental place. I couldn't fault their work or their service. Thank you.
My insurer recommend I take my newish vehicle to Capital SMART. The staff we courteous and polite. When doing the pre-release inspection of my vehicle, the CS member walked me over to someone else's car and started to explain all that good work they had done and I had to point that it was not my car and it was the wrong model and colour. Once we did locate my car I was forced to inspect it while it was reversed up to a fence & positioned narrowly between 2 other cars which makes it very hard to look at a rear end repair. They did fit lots of new parts but they did not paint them the right colour as there is noticeable difference. All the newly painted parts have really bad orange peel effect. The fitting of the parts is not correct as there are uneven gaps in several places and some corners are sitting proud by apx 3mm. The external foot wave sensor is now installed on the opposite side of the car to where it was when it went in to be fixed. What's worse is there are new scratch's on both rear wheel archers that were not there and I have photos that can prove that. And lastly they failed to fully paint all of the tailgate as you can see and feel bare metal on the inside lip of the boot. I reported this to Capital & a supervisor came out and looked at my observations and admitted that they "did not do a very good job" and that he would order more parts in and could they try & fix it again, and it will only take them 2 days. I never rushed them on the first repair as I had access to a loan car so there was no time limit. Upon 24hrs reflection I have instructed my insurer that I want the vehicle taken to another shop as I don't trust Capital to get it right. I have a feeling Capital want to just do a fast turn around service that gives them maximum throughput and profit. And hope that people don't look to closely at what quality of job they have done. If you care about your car try using somewhere else.
These guys are great! Receptionists are super friendly and helpful. My car was in for repairs for a total of 5 days! Including ordering parts and work…super happy and will be returning.
This is a Suncorp repairer. Suncorp Insurance is disfunctional organisation so by association don't expect too much in the way of service from this repair shop. We had a relatively minor rear end smash. The bumper, the internal crash bar and two panals damaged but they wrote the car off. However, they refused tell what was going on with the car. It took a 3 hour phone to the offshore Suncorp call centre 3 weeks after we dropped the car to establish this fact. Unfortunately, that was only the start of our adventures in Suncorp Land.
Just had our car repaired with SMART Capital Repairs. What great service. Nothing was too much trouble, and everything was handled so professionally from start to finish. From reception to assessment, and then to completion and hand over … in less than two days, and while making us feel valued every step of the way. Haven’t had service like that for quite a long time, not to mention quality work. I don’t wish to have need of a panel beater in the future who does but I know where I will definitely insist on sending our vehicles to, if ever in need again, without a doubt. Great great job by all concerned, and I will be sure to refer as an when needed for family and friends in the future.
