Excellent service, loved the lady onto the counter who attended her at the last minute. Food was sooo delicious. Highly recommended.
Only went in during the day, had a few locals in the bar. Some regulars in the pokie room which is tucked away but had plenty of room and great ventilation. Has a nice outside bar front area looking out on the main street. Very nice bar staff. Great mocha coffee! Wheelchair accessibility: Large ground level entry
2 burgers and chips for $16, made with wholemeal bun and good amount of filling. I had chicken, hubbie had beef. Came with fries, nicely cooked and tomato sauce. Dessert - I had chocolate mud cake with chocolate mousse, vanilla ice cream, cream, chocolate sauce. Mud cake was not too rich, otherwise this would have been hard to eat, but managed to clean the plate.
A real choice as place to stop by on an evening walk, and the cocktails are stunning! Highly recommend

Worth a visit. Good service and 3 out of 5 meals were awesome while the other 2 was just ok.
Quite a change from the seedy bar it used to be. Customer service was amazing and the Tuesday special of a main and a dessert for $30 is value for money. Definitely recommended if you are looking for a good hearty meal in Whangarei.
My partner and I went for dinner. Great customer service and check in to ensure we were enjoying our meal. Happy hour from 3pm to 6pm and wonderful food. I had the duo pork which was very nice and we'll cooked and great accompaniments. My partner had a burger, he really enjoyed it. Price was reasonable. Will definitely go back.
Lovely service tonight. Rump steak...sirloin steak..grab one meals. Pure Chowder.
Starters came out with the meal. Had to go and ask for the drinks we ordered half an hour after we ordered then because they forgot very quiet night food portions were good though
