With easy parking access and plenty of room inside, this place is a regular destination. The staff are very friendly and helpful. While the food is ok, it is not exceptional. Sometimes the meals can be a bit ordinary, but if you stick to the regular pub choices you will not be disappointed. There are always a few specials advertised on the new monitors, which keeps the menu varied. Regular favourites, healthy catch, fish and chips, burgers and paella.

I ordered the porterhouse steak with mushroom sauce and veggies which was really good. And my partner ordered the chicken caesar salad which was lacking in dressing and the chicken was almost inedible due to the excessive seasoning. All meals came in a very timely manner considering how many people were at the tables.

Great night Tuesday every week for a couple of pints and a friendly game of Texas holdem poker. I haven’t tried the meals but they have a good range of fish at tables. So If luck is on your side there is a nice stack of cash for the winner to take away.

At the Rye Hotel Friendly greeting by a gentleman at the door when we arrived, he was lovely. The meal was great and quick service. I would recommend this hotel restaurant to anyone. Staff are friendly and helpful. Thanks for a pleasant evening. Maria

Had our family Christmas lunch there, and it was very good. The kids had a great time in the garden and in the playground. The meals were very good, better than they have been in the past. Well presented and good variety, it was great to see slaw with the fish and chips rather than "salad" The staff were also very friendly.
