Story

Nestled in picturesque gardens in the heart of the Swan Valley, Rustique is a casual eatery offering a Modern Australian inspired menu.

We have indoor dining, a large rustic outdoor undercover alfresco and charming gardens to explore, offering a vibrant venue for eating, drinking and socialising.

Featuring local produce, Head Chef has created a menu with something for everyone. From wood fired pizzas, to burgers, our signature steak sandwich, a wide choice of share platters and much more!

Western Australia's oldest wine region, the Swan Valley is renowned for its distinctive grape varietals. With such great produce on the doorstep, Rustique will feature only Swan Valley produced wines on their list. Not a wine lover? There is also a great range of WA craft beers and ciders as well as popular international beers.

From the other comments and my visit, a bit of a hit and miss in terms of food. Pork belly has a leaner cut than most other places and I loved it for that - other people might not. Enjoyed some things on the share plate more than other items. I’ll be back but next time I’ll most likely be getting individual items instead of the share platter unless we’re bringing a larger group of people. Overall a really nice meal experience in a casual garden setting which is perfect for an afternoon beer/cocktail and meal.
This is a beautiful restaurant in the Swan Valley. I enjoyed my food there - it was simple but tasty, although I feel a bit on the expensive side. The service was really friendly and efficient. It's a nice and relaxed atmosphere that is good for group dining and families. They have a small pond and bridge and a grass area behind the main restaurant area.
What an amazing place to relax and have a wonderful meal. The meals are very tasty with so much flavour and the way it was presented was gorgeous. They staff are all very welcoming and lovely. Best coffee also!!! Will be definitely be back again
Visited here on a wine tour and it is a fantastic place. Inside dining and alfresco outside dining with heaps of tables. Had a great band on there with great music. Meals were very reasonably priced and absolutely huge with plenty to eat. Would certainly recommend this place is there anybody looking for a good meal either as a family outing or even just as a couple top five star rating.
We really enjoyed our lunch at Rustique. It was busy with a great atmosphere. We sat outside on a chilly rainy day. There were space heaters and a local musician was playing. We enjoyed our meal, did not wait overly long for it. We had the Beef Cheeks with creamy mash and Guiness gravy and the Rustique Vintage Burger. Great serving sizes, we were stuffed full. The burger was a moist, tasty homemade pattie and the beef cheeks were melt in the mouth tender. We noticed many taking leftovers home. They have a woodfire pizza oven outside. A small selection of local beers and a cider on tap. Staff were friendly and attentive to clearing tables. Honestly, we could not fault anything and will definitely return. Note....beef cheeks had been attacked before I could grab a pic lol
We found Rustique Swan Valley by Chance . It is a lovely rustic and quaint restaurant in a beautiful surrounding . There are several big interesting old trees and the garden is full of lavender and rosemary. The food and the scones are highly recommended . We have a steak and a fish. Both dishes are well prepared and presentation is muck!. Tanya not sure whether I got the spelling correct is fantastic . She is very attentive, consistently checking and make sure we have everything . I would give a big thumb up for the service and food .
My wife and I came here last Saturday for lunch using a voucher, we had a pleasent meal, though my pasta was a little over cooked however all the flavours were there. My wifes ckicken burger looked very impressive and was nice, however the chips that came with her dish were very over cooked. The experience was bit off putting as they were moving tables and chairs around in middle of service, this should of been in advance. We wont be rushing back.
The staff is friendly. Dogs are welcome. The restaurant is next to the Old Young’s distillery where you can taste some vodka. A decent size of meal will cost you around AUD$30.
Gotta be one of my favourite joints in the valley these days. Good food, beer on tap, tables under the vines. Plenty of space for the kids to run around.
Amazing place yummy food service and staff are fantastic good prices must book a table can get busy but we went Easter sunday but food good proportion will be back again and dog friendly.
