Courtyard fig tree I think is a great focal point for the surrounding tables - the space has a nice vibe. You can order via the QR on the tables - easy. Good range of gins. Excellent pizza thin light crust. We'll appointed stone and brick styling but urbane enough for the everyman woman to enjoy. Overall, a superior pub that will appeal to a wide range of patrons.
Excellent pub just out of the hustle and bustle of Richmond. Food was great, staff friendly, good outdoor area and dog friendly although drinks a little pricey. Would recommend for dinner anytime.
Enjoyed a Tuesday night trivia with a friend. We had some drinks and a nice dinner while attempting to answer questions from pop culture, visual and audio cues. Although we didn't claim the jug first prize, we enjoyed the intimate nature of the event, where we could still chat ourselves, enjoy a meal and participate in the relaxed trivia night. Will definitely go again.
We would just like to thank Luke for his amazing help when we had a Photobooth booked for a function on Saturday. Luke went above and beyond to help us even lift the Photobooth up the stairs. He gave us exception service. So did the rest of the team at Royal Saxon. We felt very welcomed and would love to work with you guys again.. Thanks again, The Team at Front Entertainment.
Great bar, great atmosphere, great service. Awesome choices for food and drink. Shepherds pie - made in house and delicious. Pizzas are brilliant. Bartenders know their stuff. One of the best bars on this richmond strip. Updated 20-02-20... Coz i can. Still 5 stars! So reliable and dependable, once again, waitresses knew their stuff and of course i had 2 meals and the accompanying wines..OMgggggg. when in town , make sure to make the time to visit here.
I've eaten here twice lately, and the food is excellent. The lunch special is great value, generous serving and quick service. Worth a visit for sure.

I'd definitely give this place another try but on this visit, while the place is beautiful, the lamb ragu parpadelle was a little salty. On the other hand, the service was quick and friendly! Everyone was coming in for the pizza though, so I think I'll do that next time and I definitely want to give the happy hour a go one of these days. UPDATE - went back there today to try the pizza and that was excellent! I had the porcini mushroom, and my husband had the prawn and chorizo. Both were great! Again, this was another lunch time visit and they were not busy so service was great. We will definitely be back for the pizza!
Had our staff party here, delicious finger food unfortunately not enough off it, great area set aside for venue hire and very friendly staff.
Great space and ambience with fun, friendly and attentive service, and great food and drinks. Genuine, welcoming and generous. Well done!
