The Royal Botanic Gardens were one of my favorite spots in Melbourne. Such a beautiful oasis of greenery amidst the city – just perfect. The gardens are impeccably maintained and beautifully landscaped. It's the ideal place to get lost among the foliage, have a picnic, take a leisurely stroll – you name it. The gardens are vast, and you could easily spend the whole day there. A must-visit if you're in Melbourne.
This garden is fantastic! It has a beautiful lake and a cozy café. You can have a picnic and take a relaxing walk. The scenery is amazing, and it's very peaceful. Great place to unwind and enjoy nature's beauty.nnAlso memorial is just next to garden can also visit later part
The garden is amazing. Many smaller thematic gardens with well maintain paths. There are plenty of benches to rest, you can also take a boat and have a nice ride along the lake. Definitely recommend!
Wonderful park to walk around and enjoy nature. Very well kept with a wonderful lake where you can relax and escape the city. Worth a visit.
We visited on Good Friday and were happily surprised to discover the Terrace was open! They were run off their feet but made delicious coffee and food and despite being busy they were very efficient and didn't keep us waiting. The Gardens are so well maintained and presented, and the toilet facilities clean and well-kept. A delightful day for the whole family to picnic, or an opportunity for some exercise and a coffee and catch up! Everyone was very responsible managing the crowds with their dogs, and despite the 26 degree weather there is plenty of shade amongst the gardens if you don't like the sun. To see the whole place, wear your walking shoes, be prepared to do multiple laps, and expect to rack up 15,000 steps! We were fortunate enough to score free parking but it's 4h paid Mon-Fri.
