This morning I had brunch at the Como House with a couple of friends. I am really disappointed when I find a beautiful location, like this one, as bad managed. Our breakfast arrived after 40 minutes and after all this time my order was missing an ingredient. Wait stuff didn't seem to know what they were doing. Really expensive food and really basic quality. My "extra spoon of mash avocado" was 6 dollars??? my hash brown (certainly not home made but the one that you can buy frozen from Coles) 6 dollars!!!! Really??? End up that I paid $24 for 2 eggs on toast, a spoon of avocado mash and 2hash browns. Really expensive... but you know... you pay the location and the good service... ahahha... probably just the location. But the thing that really surprised me was that if you pay with any card (not just the amex) they add you an extra 1.something% because the bank charge them! Really??? This is a way to much, what do you think? I will love to have an answer from someone. I understand who has a minimum for the efpos but our bill was over $90!!!!

Beautiful garden with lovely cafe and restaurant to match. All in all it is a pleasent jump back in time.
