We are regular visitors to Routleys, and Lisa and Sarah are wonderful staff who definitely make the best bacon and egg rolls we’ve ever had. Keep up the great work ladies.
We just visited Torquay Rd shop, the food was yum, the coffee was yum, the staff were terrific. But, the floor was filthy, the rubbish bin was filthy and the mat at the front door was filthy. Sooo what is the food preparation area like? I wonder?
Love their meat pies .. Best around. You can buy bags of "seconds" pies, pasties and sausages rolls. It's $7 at the time of review for a bag of four.. That's really cheap for Routleys products They are seconds because they don't look 100% but there's b nothing wrong with the food quality. Seconds aren't always available but generally there most days.
Great staff, very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and they cater for people who like their food GLUTEN FREE.
Pretty good, yum sandwiches and coffee, parking out front, friendly staff, recommended.
We were incredibly dissatisfied and disappointed with the beef and mushroom and chicken and vegetable pies bought in Grovedale. 1 piece of mushroom in my pie and all pies contents were minced to death with specks of beef and chicken in the respective pies, but mostly full of gravy with gristle. Wish I'd taken photos. Never going back!
The whole team at work decided to get Routleys yesterday for lunch. I was sent with the list. The chick behind the counter did a superb job of organizing it all for me and had a super friendly and helpful manner. Food was great.
Friendly staff, ordered a birthday cake on Wednesday for Friday pick up and staff were great helping me with ordering. The cake was very tasty and everyone asked where I'd gotten it from. Not to mention they have the best pies and sausage rolls as well. Highly recommend
Don't know about the other items but we ordered a 7 inch black forest cake $23 for my partner's birthday and it was good for pick up the following day. Cake looked nice and taste had our tick of approval. Didn't find it overly sweet either, would order again.
Great staff , enjoyable coffee and food, only down side ordinary cakes. Next time I head to the surf coast i will definitely be calling in.
