Just spent a lovely quiet hour doing work here. There is much to explore but I had work so that is what I did. Free WIFI and espresso coffee and air conditioning everything for a bit of quiet time out

I come here a lot because I love libraries in general. Plenty of books to read, which are easy to find, especially with computers to search for books on. There are plenty of spaces to work, and it's very clean. I love the new framed Maori art they have by the washrooms. Their decorations are nice, and there's a man who sells hot drinks amd biscuits near the entrance. On a certain space near the computer area they hold events sometimes, so you may want to be wary of sitting there because they may (very kindly) tell you you have to move soon. The only downside is that it's sort of noisy at times, but not overly. I wish they would have more selection of books in different languages, but that's just me.

My son and I love this place. It's very popular with the community and therefore can get full-on sometimes. So it's just a matter of picking a suitable time to visit. I've had only good experiences with the staff to date. Tge selection of rwading material is just right for our needs. What I like is that hey always have activities for kids and adults alike throughout the year and are usually themed around what's going on eg; Te Wiki o te Reo. The facilities are nice and central in Pukuatua St and sufficient while the renovations are happening. Parking can be a minor problem if you arrive at a busy time. Overall, a wonderful asset for Rotorua.

How can one give a zero? Not good at all, some people in management, no odea how they got there. The library just disappeared a year ago not notifying their customers, then 6 months later i got a fine and Bacorp on my case for not returning books. Where was i supposed to. No good. And even when they were returned, Baycorp still made me credit not approved even when library agreed to inform them. Don't come here... terrible.

One of my favourite places to go to. But not enough books, and too noisy when busy. Children should not be aloud to scream and run around inside. It is a library, and they're supposed to be quiet so people can ready or study.
