WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO STUDENTS THAT ARE ON A BUDGET SINCE COMPANY IS VERY UNPREDICTABLE WITH EXTRA HIDDEN CHARGES AND LATE DELIVERY DATE. At the end of the year I stored my belongings with them for 2 months over Christmas and asked them for their re-opening day after new years for my items to be redelivered to my new address. The employee who helped me was Pieter and he told me that he would be able to organise for my items to be delivered that day and confirmed over the phone that it was possible for delivery on that day. I booked my flight back to dunedin thinking that they would be able to come on the afternoon that i arrive. However, when i gave them a call in the morning to confirm my delivery, the receptionist Angela told me that they were too busy on that day and i would have to wait 5 more days until they would be able to give me my items. However, all my essential items like my clothing and bedding were stored with them. I called again later that day to ask again whether they had any spare time to deliver my things. Angela again told me no and i mentioned that Pieter had already told me that he would be able to deliver that day. I had paid Pieter in person for the pick up and delivery fee however since he was not back from holiday until the next week, I would have to pay another employee $40 for delivery if i wanted my things back 5 days later after the promised date, when they had time to give me my items. I asked why i would have to pay again specially since i already paid and why i would have to wait that long since they had confirmed the deliver date. Angela then proceed to tell me that whatever Pieter as an employee told me, he would have to take responsibility for it and he did not represent the company even though he worked there. I told her that I will pay $40 if they can deliver that day because i could not live without my necessities for 5 days.She told me to call a bit later to see if anyone had time so i did. When i called the third time she said the only option was a 3rd party that i would have to pay if i really wanted my belongings today and that would cost me $80 which was twice the delivery fee. Since this was my only choice I got someone else to deliver my items and also had to unload the boxes from the van. After the items were delivered i called Roslyn storage again to see if i can get a refund since i already paid Pieter for the delivery fee, instead Angela told me again that there wasn't anything the company can do since their employees do not inform them and they are in charge of their own clients.

Sorry to say I won't be using this service again. I was asked to pay a third party to deliver my belongings as they couldn't make time to deliver on the date we agreed before. The third party was triple the price, even though I already paid the company in advanced for delivery. The receptionist could not reach the sale person that sorted out my paperwork and I was asked to wait a few days for them to get back to me.
