Apartments modern, clean and come with the best views anyone can ask for. All staff are great, very friendly, helpful and the service is excellent. Get up in the morning go and grab a coffee and fresh baked pies and toasties. Have you kissed a good pub meal well you have to try their dinner menu. Best porterhouse steak I’ve had for a while. Highly recommended will not be disappointed booking this place.
A quaint hotel situated along the banks for the Tamar river. You have to drive about 4 km’s along a windy road at the rivers edge, which was quite pretty. The restaurant has great views of the river, and is a popular spot for both tourists and locals. The food was decent, set your expectations. A great place to stop and enjoy a bite!
Accommodation modern, well presented with great views of the Tamar River. The outside spa was relaxing as you enjoyed the river views. The staff were very welcoming and could not do enough to make our stay 5/5. Plus a shout out to the awesome bakery. A hidden gem.Rooms: 5/5
Friendly service. Got the drinks mixed up - no problem was fixed. Ordered med-rare steak - beautiful steak but way overcooked. You could not eat it. Manager fixed it up at the financial side but it ruined an otherwise nice evening with the family. The other meals were just fine.
Enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean and spacious enough for the 2 of us. Views from the balcony were great. Staff were awesome, friendly and always helpful. Plenty of places to go and visit in the area. Had a meal in the attached restaurant that was well priced and staff were greatRooms: 5/5
A newly built hotel well situated in the northern wine region of Tassie. Fairly central for driving access to majority of the wineries. The rooms are freshly furnished, we took a double room with a spa which I can certainly recommend. With a pub attached to the grounds for an evening drink and a bakery for a morning coffee and roll this is a great location.
We went to the restaurant on Dec 20th for supper and were disappointed. The wait staff were good but it took 45 minutes to get our meal and when we did get it, my sister-in-law's entree salad was delivered a good 10 minutes before the medium-rare steaks my wife and I ordered arrived. My wife's steak was on the medium-well side. Definitely not what we were expecting when paying $30-40 for a steak or the timing that we expected from a restaurant with this reputation. We also had to give up on waiting for our dessert basically ice cream after waiting for 20 minutes - were told that there was a mix-up in kitchen when I went to pay the bill.
Nestled on the Tamar waterfront, Rosevears is a great location on the river close to wineries and even Launceston for that matter. Rooms are spacious, modern and very comfortable. Most rooms have a gorgeous river view. We also had dinner at the restaurant with bookings recommended. Can I just say that Tuesday is parmigiana night. We got the caesar salad parmigiana and it's the best I've ever had. Thick juicy and tasty chicken cooked to perfection with perfect balance of flavours. Service at the restaurant is amazing. The four girls attending the bar and restaurant are attentive and efficient. What a great dining experience. Would definitely recommend!!! Food & drinks: Visit the restaurant and bar
Great spot and excellent service. Close enough to Launceston if you want to make the drive in and good base to explore wineries. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean and simple.
The food was bland and in imaginative, cheese just chucked on a board does not make a cheese board, grilled cauliflower in a mustard sauce is not cauliflower bites, all up the menu presented well but the food that was served, did not match. Very disappointing. Service is also not their strong point. To forget a dish is below par and to also start to vacuum while customers are still seated and eating, shows a lack of training and respect. Give it a miss and eat else where
