Story

At Rosemont Cottage we believe in the importance of providing an environment where children feel safe,
secure and valued. We understand that respectful and reciprocal relationships support children to ‘grow’ to
their full potential and that children should feel free to explore, discover, be creative and to feel that
their individuality is embraced, enhanced and encouraged.
Early childhood is a very valuable and important stage of life and we are committed to the education, care,
development, and wellbeing of each child through this unique time.
Our beliefs are the foundation for the quality of care and education provided within Rosemont Cottage’s
learning environment. We believe the key to successful learning is firstly to develop a strong sense of
‘Belonging’, which is central to who we are and what we achieve. At Rosemont Cottage we pride ourselves in
providing an environment where children can feel comfortable, take ownership and develop their sense of
autonomy and agency. Through acknowledgement and celebration of individual strengths and achievement
children will develop secure and confident self-identities and build foundations for becoming successful life
long learners.
