Was there at lunchtime today meals looked great when they came out until I went to remove the onion and found a dead blowfly in my salad took the meal back to show them the response I had was what would you like me to do I explained I couldn’t eat my meal they then put my steak on another plate with no fresh chips and gave the plate back to me when you are paying $40.00 for a meal you would expect more care considering they weren’t that busy the chef didn’t look up or care when the young girl showed him my plate . Not happy and definitely won’t be going back.
Great hotel bistro! We recently went for dinner and the welcome was warm, the staff very friendly & professional and the atmosphere inside was a happy one. We chose a Barramundi dish and it was excellent. Beautifully served and very tasty with good accompaniments. Quality & presentation was as good as what you would get in a pricey restaurant. Highly recommended.
I arrived very late for a meal ... And surprise surprise the Staff were very accommodating. Explained that we only had a short time to place our order. Everyone was very professional, considering that it was the last day of the school holidaysService: 5/5
Nice place and big outdoor area but busy and noisy. Great beer and drinks but couldn’t enjoy the food. Old style soups and curry at average quality. Small portions, not satisfying….
Attened lunch midweek, the staff member taking our order had no personality, the senior pork belly was perfect, the senior lamb shank was very chewy, the porterhouse was tough and chewy, very disappointing, made the mistake of not requesting my mushroom gravy on the side, therefore it came covering the steak, therefore covering any faults. When our plates were cleared and we commented our disappointment, the staff member asked would we like to speak to the manager, As I have read previouc criticisms regarding Kirsten the Manager, we declined. We won't be returning soon.
Our entree and meals were amazing and very filling! Best parmy I’ve had in a while! Located in a beautiful spot with friendly staff. Amazing atmosphere, can’t go wrong with a good pub feed Highly recommend xoxo
Every time I go there I am impressed with the service, the cleanliness and value for money. Cleanest public bar toilets I have ever encountered. The Sand Bar was full of the usual suspects, the beer Balter XPA was good So many sports screens i didn’t know where to look. Easy parking. Lots of locals rather than tourists. My favourite watering hole on the peninsula.
Food and service was amazing. Friendly staff and they were chatty and helpful. The chef is a good looking fellaService: 5/5
Won $15 on the pokies also $10 main meal off in bistro. Spag cab was better last fortnight! Maybe different chef? Staff manager Mel is magic too
Overall was a good experience, didnt really have any issues. Just went out with my family and had a nice time. Everything is just "good". Not in a bad way and not in an excellent way, its just you get what you paid for and it was nice.Rooms: 3/5
