Great food and and a great place to meet. Sadly today was appalling for tables being uncleared. Patrons, for the 40 minutes I was here, were having to clear tables so they could sit down. This lead to some tables being unusable and stacked with cups and plates, as well as the residues of normal dining. This isn't normal here but not a good discussion point for those who were.
Granted the place was busy, but we watched staff bring food out on trays and then walk past tables that were full of rubbish and dirty dishes and not take anything back to the kitchen with them. People were having to clear tables and wipe them before sitting down to eat their meals. If each time they came out with food they went back to the kitchen with something not just empty handed it would keep the place a lot fresher and be easier to tidy up. We watched one lady come out 6 times and go back to the kitchen empty handed before anything was cleared.
Came across this place travelling through town and had a great meal, but the service here is properly awesome. Well priced and huge selection but the team makes it what it is - big shoutout to the dude in glasses taking orders, nicest guy ever. Would recommend to anyone!
Stopped here while on my drive with my friend, customers were not using tongs to grab food in the cases, despite the tongs being right there for use, pies were ok, pastries were also ok- people were staring at me and my friend the entire time wasn’t super inviting.
Best for pies and bread etc. Heaps of selection of Sandwiches / buns/ sweets/cakes/ bread/ rolls. Soooo much! And it's tasty! Just looks like a bit of a dive inside and very confused. If you have 30 mins spare for your takeaway coffee then you will love this place. They do make good coffee. Just slow.
