Completely ruined my new condition Burberry coat beyond repair. 1st go there were stains and a hole in the sleeve, John offered to try and get the stains out (note these were like water stains and weren’t present before) 2nd time returning all the lining was completely torn. I asked to go to Burberry for recommendations on repair but John assured me his tailor could repair. 3rd time returned (and months of back and forth) the coat’s fit had been altered and no longer fitted me. I then went to Burberry who advised due to the fit and shape of the lining once it’s torn it can’t just be repaired to fit the same the coat is basically deemed unrepairable. John refunded my dry cleaning fee but refused to compensate me for the coat claiming he could “fix it”. Why would I let him touch it again when it had been stuffed up so many times before. I went to the independent dry cleaners association who didn’t really do anything unfortunately. I have to go through VCAT if I want to pursue costs and damages. Will never ever return here, absolutely appalling to see they have also wrecked other people’s garments and still trading, this business should not be operating.

Recommend, very friendly. They text when your clothes are ready. Competitive pricing for cleaning and alterations. I had a jacket relined.

An ex-Burberry employee recommended I use Rose Valet for my precious coat, so I registered on the website and gave it a try. It's not the cheapest, but the service - pick up and delivery - has been so convenient it is worth paying extra in my view! Recently I dropped half a cup of milky coffee down the front of my precious B coat and was devastated to think such an expensive item would be ruined. I needn't have worried, John at Rose Valet did an amazing job getting rid of the stain and the coat is as good as new. If you want excellent service, attention to detail and someone that you can trust with your most valued clothes - go to Rose Valet. You won't regret it.
