A relaxed, friendly cafe with quality home-style food and barista coffee served inside or on the garden deck in the sunshine.

Story

Cabinet food, fresh scones and muffins baked daily. Full menu from 6.30am till 3.30pm daily, until 8pm for evening dining Friday and Saturday night. All fresh food is made at the café. Gluten-free options and very family friendly. We have outdoor seating for those sunny days. Dogs welcome outside. Great coffee. Artwork for sale. As the owners, we stand behind the quality of our food and service. If you have any issue, please talk to us at the time so we can fix it. Check us out on TripAdvisor. Stopped for a late lunch. I had a Pie, really good, pastry flaky. I'm into a good flaky pastry pie. Steak and cheese. Recommend! Hubby had a toasted chicken and brie panini with cranberry sauce. He enjoyed it ... The coffee was great. My iced mocca was cold, with ice cream and cream. So hard to find one these days that is truly cold. My hat goes out to the barrister, she did a great job! Also good to see that they except Super gold card! In my book that's a plus! I'm retired nIt's worth a stop.
Very nice little spot, plenty of outdoor and indoor seating, staff are friendly and polite, food is really good and good value. Definitely one of the finer spots in Kapiti if you’re looking for good breakfast and coffee. They certainly don’t skimp on the eggs Benedict either, which is a plus!
Stopped in for an early lunch. Plenty to choose from. The vegan in our party was very happy with the veggie breakfast made vegan. Nachos and wedges were decent. Coffee was great. Was a lovely morning to enjoy a shaded table in the courtyard, which had plenty of options for different size groups
Nice café, very hard working team. Although nothing is spectacular, but, everything is just right. Nothing fancy, but everything has a warm feeling. I can see it is very popular with the locals. But, well worth the detour to come off the motorway. I will want to visit here every chance.
Delicious food and awesome coffee Good selection to choose from. Big breakfast is generous
