I ate there with a party of 8 so there was a variety of different meals. Everyone was very happy with what they received. The meals are large portion are very delicious.nStaff were helpful and friendly. Meals were brought out in a timely manner. The restaurant itself was clean, warm and relaxed.nWill return. Highly recommend.
Went there for lunch Sat 4/10 12.20pmnNo one to greet you, no sign telling you to wait to be seated.nIt was busy, but still tables empty.nSat at a window table 1 of 3 the same emptynNo reservation sign.nYoung waitress appears & takes our drink order.nComes back to ask if we are part of a certain group to which we said no. She said would we mind moving to one of the other 2 tables, that was fine, not a problem.nTHEN……. She says, the Manager said to pass on that we can’t order a meal till 1.30pm because they had a table of 40 !nSo I asked if we were expected to wait over an hour till we can order a meal ? She replied Yes.nI felt sorry for her.nDidn’t feel sorry for the Manager palming the job off onto her.nWe left & went to the Lighthouse, & had a beautiful meal before that hour was up.nWon’t be back, & won’t recommend.nPut some reserved signs up or greet your diners it’s not that hard….
Hands down the best meal I’ve had in a decade. Husband and I were thinking back over the last 10 years comparing all the meals we’ve had and this takes the cake. So much so that we are in Tassie for a week and have been back twice. I’ve never been one to finish a meal and both times I’ve continued to eat beyond being full because it would be a crime to leave anything on the plate.nI had the salmon with the sides from the cauliflower steak I had to be complicated but my oh my husband had the scallops.nBoth to die for.
Best service we have received in a restaurant in Tasmania, Kohl behind the bar was outstanding and could not do enough to help us even tho it was a busy lunch time. There was a young girl there that was outstanding in customer service as well but did not get her name unfortunately, we made sure to pass on this feedback to management personally, The food was amazing and portion sizes were very good. Compliments to all workers and management team.
Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful young staff members advised me to ultimately select blue grenadier as lunchtime meal. Really enjoyable. My sister was also very happy with her birthday meal. I recommend this place.
