Delicious. Very filling. The tomato relish complement is amazing. Coffee is fantastic too. The walnuts in the Pork, Apple, Walnut and Fennel Rolls are great! Really good flavour and texture. The Roast Veg and Smoked Cheddar Roll was delicious also. And of course the dessert was gone in a flash
Cosy atmosphere and would love to come to try their sweet pastries as they were all gone. Coffee is also made well with a nutty profile. We tried the;nn Pork, Apple, and Fennel Sausage Roll -nHighly recommended, this sausage roll is a highlight of the menu. The combination of pork, apple, and fennel creates a moist and flavorful filling encased in a perfectly baked pastrynn Croissant - a classic delight. It is good and flaky, with the delicate layers that one expects from a traditional French pastrynn Chicken Caesar Sandwich - offers an interesting mix of flavors. While the bread was a bit dry, the overall taste was pleasant. The chicken, though slightly dry in some parts, still provided a decent complement to the other ingredients
I had to visit Riser after having tasted their amazing sourdough bread at Barolos Italian Restaurant in Toowong Village. A day prior, we were at Lucky Duck cafe and their sourdough bread is from Riser too! How many restaurants and cafes actually mention where they source their bread from? And Riser is mentioned twice in two menus. The visit to Riser this morning confirmed it all - It’s the best bakery-cafe I’ve ever been! We ordered the chicken sandwich, apple crumble, pork sausage roll, iced latte with oat and piccolo - and they are all absolutely fabulous! The service is very friendly, quick and easy. The atmosphere is super too - rustic, green and gives that traditional cafe feel. Love it and will certainly visit every time I’m in Brisbane.
The best bakery in Brisbane, coffee small but perfect balance, croissants I had 2 while I waited for a masterpiece of a sandwich. 2 of their sandwiches combined into 1.nn100% this place is a hidden gem with absolute no parking but I will always smile as I walk back to my car.
Didn’t know of this place until recently. Very cozy place to dine in for a nice cup of coffee and breakfast! The staffs are super nice and the food is amazing as well. Vegetarian options are available which is great. Definitely would recommend riser!
