A stunning octagonal mudbrick building over-looking the Goldfields Reservoir and set amongst tranquil bushland.

Story

Ripples on the Res. offers people a chance to escape to the bush and enjoy a coffee, breakfast, light lunch, a devonshire tea or an evening meal in a peaceful and friendly atmosphere. Dine inside our beautiful mud brick dining room or outside overlooking the reservoir or grab an ice cream and enjoy a stroll around the scenic reservoir. Our friendly staff aim to see you leave with a smile on your face and the desire to return.

Great place for a meal or just even to kick back with a coffee
Lovely hostess and beautiful food. Great atmosphere, burning log fire. In November!! Lovely.
Really lovely. Friendly staff and a good variety of meals and decadent desserts. For anyone not local I would strongly recommend stopping here for lunch before you head on into the town centre. Definetly the best place to eat. Edit: It is currently closed as the owners have moved.

Great food. Unusual 70s? building with a fire place in the middle. Made a great setting for a family dinner in winter. I liked that it was a little quiet as we could easily hear each other.
