Don't order the schnitzel, despite the country homestyle setting, you get a piece of processed junk out of the freezer that does not live up to the 18 dollar price tag. To be honest it's a shocking rip off. How hard is it to organise a piece of chicken? Won't return.
On the inland side of the Bruce Highway just near the big junction, it is worth turning off into west Maryborough to stop at this cafe & gift store. Quirky range of gifts, reasonable meals and home made cakes and sweets. Very professional service.
A family owned business that is a great spot for breakfast or a coffee. They catered for our large group very well for breakfast. Lots of great gifts and homewares to browse through as well.
