A couple of years ago I had to board my two cats while I was in hospital and it ended up being for just over a month. Well this is the place I chose to use, and my two cats were returned to me happy healthy and spoiled for cuddles. And just in these last couple of weeks I took in one of those selfsame cats who had just experienced an unusual weightloss and the staff were all wonderful about getting a diagnosis, not stressing the cat (or the owner), and working out the best way forward for treatment. Unfortunately the diagnosis is feline diabetes, but the clinic has been great about my needle phobia (they got me needle pens rather than syringes to use for insulin injections) and very helpful about ongoing diet and testing etc. The staff are all sensible and kind, with a genuine liking for their patients, and a lot of patience with the people who come with them, and their busy schedules. I didn't find their charges to be too expensive, though they are definitely not cheap. I have no pet insurance so I actually expected some steeper fees. It looks as if I will be seeing the vet staff on a very regular basis over the next few months until my cats illness is stabilised, but luckily he seems to purr through his visits. I am so grateful to have access to such a good local veterinary practice.

RVC is a really great vet clinic and Ross is a super Vet. Admin staff, flexibility, hours, and follow through are all first rate.
