A truly amazing experience! Sifu Vargas not only provides a welcoming atmosphere, but his knowledge, philosophy and experiences are world class. He not only wants you to succeed in JKD but he also shows how training, determination and passion flows in all aspects of life. I recommend this to anyone wanted to develop the skills to protect themselves and those around them but also those who want to be apart of a great community and am extremely friendly environment.

Words cannot describe how passionate, devoted and authentic Sifu Vargas is with his approach to JKD located in Melbourne. He has been all over the world and trained with the best. I have been training with him for 9 months now and it has been one of the best experiences of my life. At 33 years of age and having never trained in Martial Arts before, I had to be sure I chose the right style/system and most importantly, the right teacher! I chose JKD due to sports injuries which limit certain movements. Other styles/systems do not cater for this. Sifu Vargas and I have since worked through these. This is the beauty of JKD, there are no limitations! Highly recommended for a truly life changing experience.

An authentic Jeet Kune Do experience to be found in Melbourne, Sifu Vargas delivers an amazing JKD training program. Philosophy intertwined with physical martial arts is at the heart of JKD, and Sifu Vargas coaches these to a high, professional degree. Very highly recommended for beginners in JKD, as well as established martial artists wishing to cross train. (NT)

An unbelievable experience training in authentic Jeet Kune Do with the team at the Melbourne Jeet Kune Do academy, an eye opening experience for any true martial artist. Not just the training which is fantastic, but the philosophy involved is such a beautiful thing to help you through your daily life I feel very privileged and honored to be training Jeet Kune Do with Sifu Ricardo Vargas who is a great person but also has a wealth of knowledge. I encourage any martial artist, who trains for fun or competition, or people who just want to work on self improvement to give it a go, you will not be dissapointed

A welcoming school to learn the martial arts and philosophy of the late Bruce Lee. The moment you walk into the Academy you are greeted with lovely people that you make you feel comfortable and motivated to become fit and learn to be able to work your body in ways that you never thought possible. Honestly friends...give it a try! You will not be disappointed!!!!
