Awesome place, highly recommend! The volunteers are great. Cool introduction into Maori culture in the 1800s.

A rebuilt old Maori village to show how the Maori lived in the past. There is also a small museum with old Maori objects. The whole museum is runed by friendly people.

Beautiful place to walk around and take in some of the local culture rugged and slippery in some places so best to have a good pair of shoes on when going in , also a donation on entry will help keep the village looking nice for others in the future
