From the outside the place is a dump, when you walk in it looks like the place should be condemned, but when you eventually walk through to the beer garden it's pretty good and the food was surprisingly good. Everything was really tasty. Had a good time. If l didn't have to walk through the pub I'd give it
The building is falling apart faster than Dirk’s head after a few bevs but the beer garden is quite nice and they allow dogs. You’d think people were keen for another lockdown though because the lack of social distancing was alarming.
Good social distancing, good food, great outdoor space.
I was there a few days ago and it definitely turned out better than I expected. Highlight of the night was definitely the most entertaining bartender even tho he was absolutely swamped, Max you're a legend.
Changing my review due to unacceptable health risks here. Great food, decent beer and nice staff, but smoking is uncontrolled fine if you like cancer and dogs roam freely - bar staff even patted dogs. So tough luck if you're anaphylactic. Very unfair when you spend a few hundred bucks for a night out to be ruined like this.
It's a decent pub with a huge outdoor beer garden. If you're after somewhere old school and eclectic then this is the place for you.

The food served to us during the Charles Jenkins gig was terrible. It’s a good venue and serves good cold beverages, but the quality of the food served to us was very very disappointing. Everything was over cooked and the tacos were congealing together into a hard mass at the bottom of the bowl. The ingredients were bizarre too.
