Great spot for a rest stop with kids. Plenty here to entertain my 3 and 5 yo. Nicely planted and well maintained gardens. Epic slide. Lots of picnic seating but none in the shade. Very little shade at all, actually, fortunately it was overcast when we visited. There is some recent planting that will offer shade in a few years. Toilets are nothing flash, but perfectly adequate.
Took the kids to burn off their big lunch. It's a nice little park unfortunately it was later in the day & the slide, swings & rocking horses were too hot to use.
Great little park for a quick break. Reasonable toilet block, great park benches and it's just across the road from one of Te Kuiti's main attractions!
Very disappointed with the at Te Kuiti playground I had my two of my grandchildren to play there wasn't any swings for older kids children from 7, and upward to have fun on swings and nothing much else for them to play with.
Cute little spot, had to ask staff at new world to find a park. Public toilets right there are very handy too. Bought ourselves a little much and had a picnic. The only negative I had was that there was no covered seating to eat out of the sun. Hard to eat at the bbq tables they had as it was a really hot day.
