Worst dishonest people ever! First of all, one RWC was already done in August, in Bowen, to change the number plate, from VIC plate to QLD plate and the car was perfect, they just change the brake pads. I brought my car to Atherton now January 2020 because I needed a RWC certificate to sell it. They asked to us a couple of times if we wanted to sell it and if we were leaving the country soon why???. They called us after two hours in saying that we needed to replace or fix "this, this and this, and this" to pass RWC...like cleaning the engine and other things 600 $ !!!!..they were charging us 60$ to change the wiper blades! 60$ for wiper blades! Replaced already in August buying the refills with 12$ We went away! I called another garage for the day after and in few hours the mechanic called me in saying that the car was pretty okay, he changed few stuff and I paid 118$, passing RWC and no mentions about wiper blades replacement neither!. And that's not all! The day after started to rain and when I operated the wipers, guess what...They were still perfect, not even a line in the windshield! Now, I don't know if it's for the usual racism that some people have against backpackers or if they wanted to take advantage of the situation we were asked if we were leaving the country but we are honest and we always been honest in this country like in our country. And most of all, we are not stupid. People, don't go to this place!
