This is a very nice place and area in Rawson. The only criticism I have is that the bed in the main room, is a bit uncomfy and hurt my back. Other than that, it's great! There's a mini mart 2 minutes away by car and 11min walk. Very good.
Lovely area, powered sites had a private shower and toilet, pretty old and run down but still a bonus. Sites also came with bins, fire pits and taps. Dogs allowed on leash Would have been a pleasant enough stay however the people camped right next to us 5 mtrs away had a party with loud music, yelling and carrying on until 1.30am when they finally started to quieten down. No one from the park came down to handle the situation at all. Was quite frustrating being a paid for site. I am all for having a drink and a laugh but when you are sharing a camp ground in a caravan park you need to be more respectful. I had 2 children with me and this wasn't acceptable. I would of really expected someone to of come down and tell them to pack it in..
Great facilities, this is the first and only powered campsite that had a private bathroom. There weren’t many animals around which seemed weird, hope it isn’t because hunting is allowed in the park. But it is a 15 min drive from walhalla and really close to bow bow mountains. The owner is really friendly too. Highly recommended!

Great spot if you want to just be in the nature.. loads of magpies..my fave waking up to birds is beautiful .. Kookaburrus galore.. worth having the extra toilet & shower to
It’s not often you find a place with massive sites, complimentary fire barrel AND private bathroom facilities all included. Went to the on site restaurant and the food and drinks were excellent! My only heads up, bring along some cash if you’re not bringing fire wood to save a long drive to the nearest ATM or servo. Love it! Will be back :

i stayed here last weekend for 2 nights in a holiday cabin with my partner & child. The room was great - clean, tidy & had all that we needed and more. The owner/staff we fantastic - very nice & friendly always. We ate at the Stockyard both nights and food was delicious. Will definitely be coming to stay again. Thanks
Rawson is awesome but seriously, friendly and helpful staff, yummy food from the pub, and great campsites with awesome facilities.
We stayed 3 night with my family.mark and lady very friendly and lovely.private toilet ans shower .clean.fire pit.playground.close to swim pool and river 10 minutes to river .20 mine to whalhala gold cave .
