Perfect place to watch movies! Good sound clear place, comfortavle chair!! Thumbs up. One more popcorn and snack store is good!!
Although an older cinema. Place is clean and well maintained. Staff are quite friendly, cinema service is pretty good. Only drawback is the pop corn is always stale. Pretty quiet whenever I have seen a movie here usually in middle of day
Fabulous location. Great sound system. Good quality seats. Special parking fee for movies goers. Friendly service. I would recommend to watch movie here if you are in the city.
I went to see the Chinese sci-fi movie The Wondering Earth 2. And I was a fantastic experience. The self tickets printing machine works well. And the seats are bigger than cineplex. They also have many other Asian movies too.
Good cinema experience. Very central location if that's what you're looking for. Was chasing a specific film that wasn't showing anywhere else and they had it here so that's added an extra star.
As a visitor to Brisbane and not being familiar with the Myers Centre layout, this cinema wasn't the easiest to find. If you can locate the correct lift, take it rather than go up many, many escalators. The cinema itself was clean but the seats are ready for a refurbishment. It's got a tired feel but, as a cinema, it does its job okay.
Went to watch a movie today, first, we noticed when we arrived it smelled like urine. Turn on my flashlight and seeing disgusting on the chairs, like moulds, food residue sticking on them and chewing gum. I did take some pictures. Brisbane City Cinema needs a proper cleaning It's absolutely disgusting. Never watch a movie there again.
Lady in Green shirt 25/2 12pm was really rude. We payed $100 for tickets and she refused entry because we had photos of ids rather then physical. We are all over 15 and they didn’t believe it. She kept being very rude about it and didn’t apologise. She refused to refund us booking fees. Go somewhere else, have been let down .
Went to watch a late night movie with my partner and the security guard was extremely rude, I asked her if we could take the lift down the the ground as we did not feel like taking 5 escalators and sets of stairs at midnight and we had just seen a group of other patrons taken the lift down, she was extremely snarky and rude and told us no just go down the stairs. She then proceeded to stand there and point at the stairs as we were already walking over. After we had gone down the first flight of stairs we turned around after she shouted something at us that didn’t quite and noticed that she was standing on the stairs watching us go down each escalator. Not sure why it is so necessary to be so rude to your customers and then stand there staring at them and harassing them as they leave. Very rude and unfortunate way to leave what would’ve been an alright experience other than that. Chairs aren’t the comfiest and there was a big line in the screen that distracted us the whole movie cinema 2 this would’ve been lovable but the appalling way we were treated on the way out really ruined the experience. Staff needs to look into the person who spoke with us tonight and have a chat to them.
The manager there does not seem to care about accessibility. My family and I need open caption on the movie but they do not provide that - so we basically have no access to the cinema. We know that they provide closed caption captiview option but they are terrible and very distracting. Event Cinemas need to lift up their game and provide better accessibility for people who need captions.
