My first taste of food in Melbourne. The most perfect poached eggs I have ever eaten in my life. Super tasty and super awesome plating Love, love, love this little cafe in Carlton and will highly recommend it. Menu is stupendous. Perfect dishes - all made from scratch and are all super delicious. Serving portion is quite generous and filling. Prices are quite reasonable. Very, very clean. Beautiful interiors. Spaced-out seating. Clean washroom. The owners & the staff are so friendly and kind and make you feel relaxed and welcome instantly.
Definitely my favourite cafe to visit in the Carlton and surrounds areas! The staff are warm and welcoming and the wide variety of foods on offer will leave you always wanting more. From sweet treats, all made from scratch at the cafe, to tasty eats, presented beautifully and always served quickly. Not to mention that the dining area is peaceful and always a good backdrop for a photo. Could not recommend this place more!
Lovely brunch. I had Indian scramble and it was amazing. More than I expected. And the staffs were so friendly. Definitely will come back
Came in for lunch in rush hours but the food and drink came out really fast. I strongly recommend Thai curry. Yumm yumm. My friend had risotto and it was amazing too. Staffs are so friendly.
Beautiful environment, lovely fresh food. The Middle Eastern eggs is a spectacular dish with perfectly balanced flavours. Everything I've had here has been fresh and excellent. The homemade muffins are the best muffins I've ever had - not exaggerating. The staff are lovely, friendly, & professional. The setting is clean, spacious, and cozy. Unlike many other cafes, it never feels squashed-in. R & R is definitely a gem in Melbourne's inner-north.

Always a friendly smile and great service here. Pancakes are bloody amazing but not on the menu currently Opted for a generous serving of poached eggs on sourdough toast with a side of bacon. Very reasonable portions and always tasty
This is my favourite cafe, I'm working my way down the menu so I can taste everything. The food is always fresh, the chef uses seasonal produce and everything is cooked to perfection. The staff are friendly and attentive, the coffee is always perfectly made. I love the indoor plants placed around the cafe and the art on the walls and the layout is open and light filled. Wheelchair accessibility: The layout of the cafe is wheelchair friendly no steps, the staff have always been friendly and accommodating when I have visited with my mum who is in a wheelchair.
I love coming to Rathdowne Reeves as a regular customer. This place has quickly become my safe haven. I come here to read, write, think creatively and to have meetings. Trina and staff are super friendly and kind, they even know my orders now. The food is the perfect balance of everything since it’s so diverse for example, Indian scramble, Waffles and Thai Curry. Also has one of the best coffees in melbourne, highly recommend! Vegetarian options: Yes Kid-friendliness: Love to see kids and grandparents get together. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes Dietary restrictions: Good gluten free options!
Excellent menu options and wonderful staff. We like to try some different dishes, always something interesting on the menu. Accessibility good, no steps. Indoor plants great Parking in side streets is usually ok.
