This place deserves 5 stars for the amenities, service, food but rated it only 4 because of the location. You have to travel 3 km to go to the Shops, restaurants. There is no public transport nearby. You definitely need to hire a car. It is far from surfers paradise or south port but close to the theme parks. If you do not like fast paced..busy and noisy places then this is the best place to stay in GC.

What a wonderful oasis in the midst of chaos. Ranada Hotel Hope Island was our escape from the hustle and bustle of the Christmas period on the Gold Coast. The room was large and spacious. All modern furnishings. The small kitchenette was completely functional. The bathroom was huge and contained a bath. There were amenities available for use, however, we never used them. Foxtel channels were available on the TV and the free up to date movies were a bonus. The pool was sparkling. Views of the marina and the pool were refreshing. Staff were very friendly and very accommodating. I have no hesitation in recommending Ramada Hotel Hope Island for a great little getaway to the Gold Coast. Enjoy your stay.

Accommodation is reflective of cost. Comfortable and clean. Service was awesome. Shane went out of his way to bring me a new iron to my room and when I asked for a taxi he arranged it and had it waiting when we needed it

Stayed here for our wedding night/honeymoon and couldn't fault the level of service, the politeness of the staff and the cleanliness and quietness of the rooms. Plus the views and restaurant are amazing. We also got given a free bottle of wine and a hand written card congratulating us which was very thoughtful. Had an amazing time and will definitely be back.

What a gem of a hotel this is! We drove around and around trying to find it, arrived quite late so quite dark, well hidden but once there, we were blown away. Absolutely fantastic staff, polite, gracious, caring and so personable! Ramada must be a great employer to attract such lovely people! This will be our hotel of choice whenever we come back to the Gold Coast. And so well priced, spotlessly clean, loved the pool and the rooms are so spacious! Whilst I was in the pool, my wife luxuriated in the huge bath for some 3 hours! Food was lovely, if there was one minor quib, there was no brewed coffee with breakfast this morning but apparently the coffee machine was faulty - these things happen, so OK with that. Staff very apologetic. Breakfast also excellent - AND one of the few hotels in this tragically politically correct world that still has Gideon's Bibles!!! We always bring our own bibles but this was special for us, says a great deal about the morality and ethics of this great company! Have stayed in many Ramada Inns across the world, always good but Hope Island is a stand-out!! 10/10!! And forget to mention, unlimited parking and very fast WiFi!
