My family and I were stranded in Taupo after our car had a major electrical fault. Due to Covid all of the corporate rental car companies had abanded Taupo. Though Rad, a local privately owned company picked up my call well outside of business hours in the weekend and had a car ready for us to return home. I'm so pleased to give feedback on RAD. Top class all round and best value for money. Awesome customer service from Leanne who looked after me from start to finish and made everything so easy. I'm 62yrs old and RAD is absolutely the best rental car Company I have ever dealt with. Thank you so very much.
Unfortunately we did not receive the friendly and helpful service we have received from Leanne in the past. My Partner called today to inquire about a truck hire as it's been almost a year since we last used a removal truck she asked for his name he state his name and told her we had used her a lot last year she then stated if it's the name I know we won't be hiring to you again. To our knowledge we have had no issues in the past we always paid up front and fulled the truck back up and left it the way we received it clean on returning it and never had a phone call or email stating otherwise.... So we were left confused we did inquire to another brunch for a corporate number he was going to call her and see what the issue was and did say with covid some brunches were struggling we understand this but being rude to potential customers will not help get or keep business. Still waiting to see what her problem was because of this I've told my partner we definitely won't be going through the taupo brunch anymore!
Online booking didn’t have some details such as exact car make and model. So I called radcarhire Taupo. Leanne had all the answer for me. she even booked everything while being over the phone and sent out-confirmation email with out any payment. This was probably one the best car hire deal. The car had all the features and it was easy to deal with Radcar hire Taupo.
Leanne at RaD in Taupō was awesome. I needed a car fairly short notice. I went to the rental car companies I’d normally look at first and was taken aback to see how much their rates had increased $235 per day for a small car?!? - RaD rates were almost a third of that, and the Mazda 2 I had was almost new and really clean. Cannot fault the service. I can highly recommend Leanne and RaD in Taupō.
Leanne is one of the most friendly and helpful people, I really enjoyed my trip down to the mountains and using RaD car hire made it that much nicer. Great quality vehicles and good prices to match. Highly recommend this business, Thanks guys see you soon.
