Bought these “leather” shoes 2 days ago and they cracked and split so bad I had to buy a new pair of shoes that are made from real leather. Do not buy leather shoes from this company. If I could give these shoes 0 stars I would.
All the reviews about rude staff here are true. They talked trash behind my back bc I didn't buy anything. I've only seen this behaviour in wet markets, didn't expect to experience it in the heart of Sydney lol
The shoes I bought have a defectright foot smaller than left one. Impossible to wear to work and got my right foot hurt so bad. I went to the store for exchange within 7 days from purchase. Staff very rude and blamed me for my feet size not the same and saying they wouldn't have exchanged them if they were me. Whereas it is visible to the naked eyes that one is smaller than the other. They agreed to exchange finally but I am very upset about how I was treated. Very unpleasant experience.
I found my trip to Rabin Footwear most frustrating! I had rung previously to ensure the store stocked the brands, size, colour and style of boot I needed, to be purchased same day. I explained why I needed the boots I was looking for and the purpose they would be used. The male store assistant on the phone assured me they had a couple of choices of what I was looking for, in my size. SWEET! After an hour and a half of making my way to reach their store, on public transport, I arrived to find they did not have the boots I needed at all! On the phone I had enquired about non safety, lace up, leather boots, to be used for bush walking and mowing. I had explained I was looking for a dark colour so as I could use the existing boot polish I already own, to keep them looking nice. Upon arriving, I mentioned to the female staff member who offered to assist me, I had already called to make sure they stocked the boots I needed, explained again what I needed and why and was then shown 2 pairs of suede boots. When I repeated I wanted leather, I was told "these are leather". No.... They are suede! I then repeated AGAIN I need leather to be able to use them in the wet and keep them useable with polish. She then said "Oh, you want shiny leather". When I pointed out I had rung first to make sure they had in stock what I needed, before making the long journey to their store and what a waste of time it turned out to be. The lady said something about I should have researched more. WELL EXCUSE ME! I thought I would have been able to trust the word of the sales assistant on the phone, when I very clearly described what I was looking for, before wasting my time travelling to their store! Clearly neither the male on the phone nor the female in the store know the stock they are trying to sell, or they both have been taught to lie to the customer, to try to make a sale... To top off a most annoying event, when I was part way through speaking to the female, trying to make up my mind if I was going to purchase a third pair of boots, with a plastic looking tread, which I wasn't sure would stand up to the work I intended to put it through, she just ignored me mid sentence, because some other staff member came up to her. So I put the boot down and walked out of the store. #@$€₩! I WOULD NOT recommend this store to anyone else, due to the lack of staff knowledge and lack of courtesy towards customers.
the waiters were kind and their Italian accent was nice. I suggest the very good pancakes

I buy a pair of shoe on 30 jan and now it’s tear up with in one months just wearing causally . I call the store to tell the issue somebody pick up the phone and asked to bring back the shoe and they will exchange it . When I went to the store with the invoice and shoes, their was a Asian women who refuse to return it back saying they can’t do any thing in a rude way. Zero costumer service . She even refuse that they don’t return or exchange. Such an unwelcoming behaviour . When I buy the shoe they said it will be exchange if any thing happens in 3 months time. Now it’s only 1 months shore tear up. Don’t lie to people if you can’t give things .Raben shoe is a scam be aware guys. I want to give zero star is possible.
I actually had a very good experience here, very happy with my purchase of vegan ugg boots for $90. Store lady was very patient in letting me try different sizes. They look and feel great and everyone has been complimenting them.
I thought they’d be out of stock since it’s so rainy at the moment but they had heaps of options. Staff were friendly and fast
