I had a great stay at this hotel, everything was clean, comfortable, and the location couldn’t be better. The hotel is right next to the beach, which was perfect for relaxing walks and ocean views.nnThere was plenty of parking available in the garage, which made everything super convenient. Another big plus was the free laundry facilities – both a washing machine and dryer available for guests, which was really helpful during my trip.nnBut what really stood out was the young receptionist. He was incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional. He gave me great local tips, helped with everything I needed, and truly made me feel welcome. It's rare to meet someone so dedicated and positive.nnThanks to him and the great setup of the hotel, my stay was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. I’d definitely come back again!
We had a wonderful stay at Quest Brighton on the Bay. The hotel itself is very nice clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, friendly, and accommodating, providing truly great service from start to finish.nWe were even pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade, which made our stay extra special. Because of the excellent service and how welcoming the people were, we were extremely satisfied with our experience.nWe will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
Had a wonderful stay! Room was clean and comfortable, front office staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect! Got a free upgrade, courtyard, pet friendly room. Housekeeping staff, Sonika was very helpful and bubbly.. staff went above and beyond to ensure the stay was comfortable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!
Very poor and stressful check-in experience!I had a very bad check-in experience at Quest Brighton on the Bay on 25 Jan 2026 and would not recommend it based on customer service alone.nnI booked one night accommodation via Booking.com and had already provided my credit card details through the platform. On the day of check-in at around 7pm, I received a call from a private mobile number asking for my credit card details again. Naturally, this immediately felt like a scam, as the call was from a private number and I had already provided my details through Booking.com.nnThe man on the phone said they “could not find” my credit card details and claimed Booking.com did not pass them on. He then threatened to cancel my booking if I did not check in before 10pm, which was shocking. I am a regular traveller and have never experienced a situation where a guest cannot check in after 10pm without proper prior notice.nnI tried calling the hotel’s official number for clarification, but it went straight to voicemail saying reception was closed. This left us extremely confused and anxious. We rushed and drove faster than normal just to make it before 10pm.nnAt around 9:50pm, the same man called again from the private number, sounding angry and aggressive, repeating that he would leave at 10pm and again demanding my credit card details over the phone. At that point, we were only 10 minutes away and explained we would arrive at 10:04pm and could sort everything out face-to-face. He refused to listen and kept repeating that he would “shut down at 10pm.”nnBecause the call was still from a private number and his attitude was threatening, we did not feel safe giving our credit card details over the phone.nnWhen we arrived at 10:04pm, the doors were locked, reception closed, and no one was there. We were extremely frustrated and stressed. After calling the emergency number again, a night shift staff member a lady thankfully answered, let us in, and was very helpful. She explained that staff sometimes use a shared private mobile number — something the earlier staff member never bothered to explain calmly or professionally.nnWhile I appreciate the night shift staff member who helped us, the day/evening staff member who called us around 7pm and 9pm showed extremely poor customer service, poor communication, and an aggressive attitude that caused unnecessary stress and fear.nnThis experience seriously needs review by management. Guests should never feel pressured, threatened, or unsafe — especially when it comes to credit card details.
I am sad to say my studio room 016 was disgusting, had not been serviced, which the manager apologized for 2 days later when he was available.nnBody fluid stained mattress protector etcnI checked in on the 6th February till 10th February, the front deck guy said he was very embarrassed, he helped me find cleaning products and clean linen etcnI pulled the sheets back to make the bed and the mattress protector clearly not been changed in a long time.nYellow body fluids all-over and entined hairs.nUnbelievable, we struggled to find a clean unstained one in the linen room, the one I had to put on my bed had one Yellow stain to the side the rest of it looked ok so I asked him for extra sheets, which he was very helpful and gave me what I needed for the bed, I layered the sheets over and over.nI did not feel relaxed for my 4 day stay, couldn't bare to sit on the couch, or bare feet on the floor.nAlso Smoke alarm covered in a plastic bag.nI was up cleaning the room until midnightnI have all the photos posted on herennBecause I booked through booking.com they wont refund me.nI am wanting a full refund for my stay.nPlease look at Google reviews on their websitenThey as well say this hotel is disgustingnAlso every bad review gets the same response from the Ahmed the manager of this Quest hotel on Brighton Bay, He stated he will send this to the right people, he is the people.nI contacted head office for Quest and they sent my complaint to the franchise owner which is Ahmed the manager, so our complaints go no further and the hotel stays disgusting and he carries on taking our money and lying to us.nI am taking this further legally, I will not stop until I am refunded in fulln6/2/2026
